Why do we have this picture on the front? Yes everyone knows what i'm talking about. It depicts an abused tank, with a funny looking (turquoise) cannon, with it's RIGHT MUDGUARD missing (=S) and on top of that, whoever visits our forums, get's the idea that it's our best tank. A couple of my Non-pakistani friends have asked me what that "Thing" is. And if it's the best we can offer ...

How about some Al-khalid pictures instead? And al-zarar's? I posted amazing pictures of al-zarar in high resolution. They would DEFINITELY be a good replacement compared to that. But please, someone answer me why we have that picture on the main-page image rotation? Not just one, TWO of them.

I was wondering about this aswell just today, however, I like the picture because it looks old but good at the same time, don't know how to put it, it has this nice "old" feeling to it but still looks modern with the background.
At the same time, I do wonder why we don't have pictures of e.g. Al-Khalid or the Al-Zarrar, which are tanks that should also be on the mainpage or in any banner.
People might think that this tank is actually Pakistans best tank, but people with a little more knowledge about Pakistan and about militaries in the world will most likely know that this is just a picture to give a sort of "defence feeling" or army related feeling, not Pakistans true tank or what its capable of.

What we have on the openning page is "down and dirty" the "grunt" the "veteran"... some of the photos posted here to replace have "muzzles" on their cannons...

If we MUST change then we should change it to an action shot like the one we have for this "old hand"... by the way "battle damage" is what its all about and not the shiny silverware...
