United Kingdom Farnborough Airshow held at TAI / TAI product T-129 attack helicopters to attack a step further opened the door to exports. A senior Pakistani delegation was chaired by the Chief of Staff revise yesterday met with TAI Helicopter Group President Metin Sancar demand. A delegation from Pakistan to Turkey will participate in the coming months it plans to UMTAS qualification tests for anti-tank missiles. The TAI officials also successfully pass the tests to decide if buying the Pakistani think it would be very close.According to the information received on the other hand, blocking the T-129 helicopter engines of past exports to Turkmenistan will be an issue this time.Recently the United States nine AZ-1 Cobra attack helicopters to Pakistan Military Foreign Exchange (FMS) to sell, for example, whether the method of creating obstacles to the export engine helicopters in the country.

The issue is with engiene as Americans will never waste time in blocking the sale of these engienes. I wonder why Turkey choose such an unreliable source for the helo engiene. US is known for putting hurdles in defence exports.

It has been said that it is not an issue and even such issue did not exist! But if it was the case then it has been resolved and now we can countdown to induction most likely. IA

At the moment Pakistan is not under sanctions from US and only thing stopping Pakistan from any purchase of US goods are finances. They don't have any problems if we pay without any subsidy.

If deal goes through the US will not object. Engines are built under license in Turkey and even if there is a blockade on Pakistan in the future Turkey can always funnel parts like it did to Pakistan for the F-16s when Pakistan was under Pressler sanctions.

People must understand that although paid lobbyists make alot of noise in Congress there are no forceable grounds under which they can impose sanctions on Pakistan. They can only stop or curtail coalition support funds and aid (which partially returns to their pockets in the form of overpriced sales).

My own opinion is revived interest in T-129 is because of PA's falling out with Bell with regards to existing Cobra overhaul/maintenance extortion, their dealer in Pakistan was once blacklisted before with regards to Bell 412 maintenance issues as well. Hence PA opting for T-129s for high altitude operations and Z-10s inductions also running parallel while that platform matures.

US is an unreliable source for Pakistan, not Turkey, who is a NATO ally.

Mate Even without sanction US aint giving you squat. They even block sales of Global response cutter to Pakistan and you expect the to give engines for an Attack helicopter. On top of that Turkish relations with US are also strained as US is now openly supporting PKK terrorists in turkey.

US mood is not merely bcz of lobbying they currently have billion of dollars worth of Military equipment sales bagged from India. This new nexus of US India and Afghanistan is like US hinting at giving more space to India in Afghanistan before high tailing it back to their American hole. India will be their Patsy for enforcing their agendas in this south asian region.

I think engine for T-129 will come from Italy not USA

What NATO? You expect EU and US to come to aid of Turkey . US and EU are actively supporting PKK which are killing Turk citizens on daily bases.

Ssecondly Pakistan didnt order any equipment from Turkey which had any foreign components. Anyways induction of T129 is a speculation at this stage bcz Pakistan is still evaluating other options like Z10 OR Russian helos.

I think it still has a US patent but i might be wrong. The engine development was financed by US so they still hold that patent for it.

Pakistani high ranked delegation visited TAI officials to re-assess the requirements for likely Pakistani T-129 Atak platform. Next Months, A delegation from Pakistan is going to attend Mizrak-U anti-tank missile qualification firings on T-129 Atak helicopters. If tests reach successful, TAI officials think The signature ceremony with Pakistan will be much closer than ever.

According to information received from source, The T-129 Atak helicopter to be exported to Turkmenistan, was blocked by USA but USA export regulations for engines will not cause a blockage issue for Pakistan, since USA has already gave permission to Pakistan to buy AH-1Z helicopters + engines and spare parts under FMS deal. That means a clear example for LHTEC engines to Pakistan.

It seems T-129 Atak Helicopters are coming for Pakistan brothers !

BTW, Source don't give it but Mizrak-U qualification firings will be done in September 2016 brothers.
