Electronic Warfare is used and the same dumb syrian army is faked up againg and againg. How many time can your enemey fak you up like this, he bombs you and go back to home. SAM system is not enough to protect your sky, you need multi layered aifdefence from long range to medium range. Support it with EW and ECM systems and they still didn´t learn it. So israel will rape like that.

If I was Syria I would invest in high altitude, long range infrared missiles that are hard to be tricked. During Gulf war most allied aircraft were shotdown by IR homing missiles, not radar homing.
Missile specs should be at least 30k feet, and 10 km range on a tracked, or wheeled chassis and advanced sensors.

Denel Umkhonto has a range of 20 km, and an altitude of 8 km and would be very hard for Israel to counter.

These electronic countermeasures were targeted on the vicinity where Israeli air defense systems were located, and the Palestinian rockets were getting through Israeli air defenses and casualties. There were reports where PIJ challenged Israel to publish the actual casualties after the Buraq 120 missiles were landing on Israel. The Israeli authorities didn't disclose the actual casualties, if any.

In this below link, it is showing the explosions caused by the PIJ's rockets after it hit Israel's Iron Dome missile defense system. The Israeli authorities completely blocked any access to the location where the rockets hit and also the release of any images from that area.
