'China is winning and the Western world is far behind,' say activist and artist Ai Weiwei

THE Chinese artist and activist Ai Weiwei believes that China is now moving ahead of the western world.

“I think they are winning,” he tells The Herald Magazine tomorrow in an exclusive interview. When it comes to infrastructure, he argues, China has overtaken the first world.

“Airport, the road, the train. It’s far behind,” Ai says of the west.
And China will continue to move ahead, he thinks.
“It’s simple. They have 1.4bn people. Each of them wants to become rich, so they work hard, maybe five times harder than the people in the west. They don’t have vacations, they leave their child in the countryside, only see them once a year.

“So that’s very different from the west. You enjoy your democracy, luxurious life, pensions and protections. You refuse to work more. All this makes China laugh.”

Ai was speaking on a visit to Edinburgh to promote his memoir 1000 Days of Joys and Sorrows. It includes an account of his time living in a hole in the ground with his father, who was himself a dissident in China, in the 1960s. It also charts his own run-ins with the Chinese Communist Party.

In 2011 Ai was arrested at Beijing airport and detained for 81 days. His passport wasn’t returned to him until 2015.

All these overseas Chinese "pro-democracy" activists would have gained some respect and support, had they united and fought like CCP in its early days. Instead of standing together under the banner of "Freedom/Democracy" , they fight each other for grands and accuse each other for being CCP spies. They are actually far more corrupt than CCP.

As an alternative political force to CCP, they are finished.

These brainwashed losers will NEVER EVER be an alternative political force to the CPC.

It is not China that is winning, humanity is winning. The US violent b@stards and their Zionist masters have brought only corruption, wars, plunder, death, destruction, atrocities, exploitation, racism and plunder to the world since 1945. Hopefully, the power shift to Eurasia will bring in a more just and humane world order than the endless wars and lies the US and west in general have perpetuated.

What's interesting is the repeatedly word choice of "they".

No he isn’t. He just hates authority wherever he lives and will attempt to troll and subvert it.

There is no perfect system. Good systems are relative during certain period. The problem is when people think they have a perfect system and don't reform. Democracy system is becoming a corrupted system for rich people. They make corruption legal. Check and balance become party struggle. They promise a lot but deliver little. Most of time they are just preparing for next election. People are disappointed but they still believe next leaders will be different. It's a dead end or a circle.

This guy use nude to subvert the state and to spread depraved thinking among young people. His modus operandi is forever ask a bunch of girls and guys to stripe themselves on public as a expression for freedom and human rights.

So far the Chinese state is extremely tolerant of him, probably as a way of showing the whole world China has freedom of expression and democracy.
