Sushma seeks revenge, says 'get ten heads if they don't return one'

NEW DELHI: BJP leader SushmaSwaraj has sought revenge against the brutal beheading of Lance Naik Hemraj by Pakistani troops.

If they don't give us one head, we should bring back ten heads, Sushma said talking to reporters after meeting the family of the martyr.

Sushma slammed the Centre for its muted response to the Pakistani aggression and sought an apology from the government.

The government should act tough as the country was angry, Sushma said.

She hit out at the government for not giving the martyr his due.

The martyr's family is rightfully upset with the government, she said.

The defence minister or at least the minister of state for defence should have attended the martyr's funeral, Sushma said.

Sushma Swaraj was part of a BJP delegation, that included party chief Nitin Gadkari and Rajnath Singh, that met the family of the martyr in Shernagar village in Mathura district, about 350 km from Lucknow.

I dont understand why such revenge statements and war mongering are not done by such media persons or politicians when Maoists kills the Security personnel. A good observation how much they really care about their Jawans and how much they want to exploit this issue for point scoring and cheap publicity.

It is easy to talk tough when one is in the opposition. Her response would have been very different if her party was ruling and she was a minister. Her response wouldn't have been too different from the congress' today. When the parliament was attacked when she was in power, what did she do? When she is in the opposition, she can use the death of two jawans for her political needs, and make these irresponsible statements. She doesn't need to back it up with action, since she is not in power.
