I came across some really interesting tweets by Fahd Husain.

Do you guys agree that PM has brought back the bureaucrats that used to get things done in PMLN time?

I just want to unsee the news about Chohan, the bigot is back in the cabinet. But other reshuffle looks promising.

Fayyaz ul Hassan Chauhan's return as Info Minister Punjab is reflective of the duality that defines PTI's struggle to manage Punjab. The massive reshuffle in the Punjab bureaucracy has clearly been done after due diligence. The choice of officials by PM is very good. (1/11)

I personally know many of those bureaucrats appointed by PM and they are the best of the best. They should have been brought in earlier but better late than never. This reshuffle is triggered by a genuine realisation by PM that things are bad in Punjab (2/11).

Question is: What or who is the cause for the mess in Punjab. Answer depends on who you ask. PTI leadership figures bureaucrats are not working & if they get efficient ones things will improve. Perhaps. Shahbaz Sharif also conducted efficient governance thru 'doer' officials (3/11)

These super bureaucrats implemented what Shahbaz Sharif wanted done. They did this well. They also proposed projects on their own. But they proposed to the CM. If he considered these projects would promote the larger political vision/priorities he would green-light them (4/11)

Then CM would push these super bureaucrats to implement them with 'speed. Things got done in Punjab because the political-bureaucratic combination worked well. Now PM has done the right thing by bringing these super bureaucrats back. But who will guide them? (5/11)

Without a hands-on political vision & supervision, situation will only improve so much and no more. Chief Secretary & IGP cannot provide strategic leadership that a province needs, let alone one the size of Punjab. Running affairs from Islamabad has not worked either (6/11)

And what is in fact the vision for Punjab that these super bureaucrats will implement? We have no idea. It is a mix of random projects that catch someone's fancy. But big-ticket items? None on the horizon. Police reform, health reform, any other massive reform. Nope. (7/11)

Punjab needs a 'Mission Statement' first. Then comes the team to implement this mission. PTI is approaching it the wrong way. Plus it is only fixing one aspect of the political-bureaucratic combo that delivered governance under
@CMShehbaz
(8/11)

PM clearly wants to make things happen in Punjab. His approach however needs to be more holistic and less piecemeal and knee-jerk. Optics cannot substitute for substance. Projects without prioritisation lead to waste of taxpayer money (9/11)

Prioritisation is birthed by a larger political vision. This vision has to be Punjab-specific. It also needs to be timelined and deadlined with clear outcomes and deliverables that impact the people of Punjab. Merely shuffling officials will lead to disappointment (10/11)

PM is thinking right. He needs to plan right. He also needs to appoint right on the political side. He is already behind schedule in Punjab and the clock is ticking (11/11)

All those back to whom this shameless U Turner said are partner of shobazo in corruption , munafiq e Aazim ,

PTI needs to learn and learn quick. Not every one is corrupt in Pakistan, the bureaucracy generally is very efficient and patriotic. Let them work.

LOL

Chohan is the perfect choice. You need someone like him to deal with the likes of PML-N. PML-N is a party of thugs and thieves who don't know how to speak. Someone like Chohan knows how to deal with them, and puts them in line. Perfect choice for Punjab Info Minister.

.
Chohan was doing a good job as info minister before, meeting the patwaris at their own filthy gutter level and beating them. However, he uttered some stupidity against Hindus during the standoff with India in Feb and that is why he was removed.

Doesn't change the fact that he's a bigot, has no manners to speak. If PTI likes to be represented by people like him and not Mian Aslam Iqbal, well and good. Well deserved!

When you have an illiterate, duffer and corrupt CM such as Buzdar, what do you expect your info minister to be like. PTI is being destroyed on ground because such illiterate and incompetent people. Someone from the PTi should seriously take action and make changes otherwise the coming up elections are going to be a death sentence politically.

When you get in a fight with a dirty pig laced with lard (PML-N and PPP), do you go fight as a gentlemen or you get down to their level. Look at the likes of gentle faces of PTI such as Shibli Faraz or Mian Aslam Iqbal, they usually get sidelined on talk shows because simply they are gentlemen because usually the spokesperson from PML-N are all corrupt 3rd class people. You need to fight fire with fire.

I voted for a party with faces like Asad Umar, not this bigot. If both sides will have no difference, I might as well vote for PMLN next time. Silly argument!

Punjab minister relates Buzdar to Sher Shah Suri

On the contrary I believe PTI members are 3rd class people while those from PML(N) and PPP behave a lot better.

There are gangs in Bureaucracy. These gangs come and go together. And these same bureaucrats runs the worst corruption rackets in the history of human history. Smuggling to release of Raymond Davis, you name it.

In haramion nain qom ko paralyse kia hoa hai. See one of their karnamaz. Few guys in state bank and few gusy in finance ministry, and everything financial will be on track.

Couldn't agree more

Talal Chaudhry, Daniyal Aziz, Uzma Bukhari, Shehla Raza, Mian Javed Lateef are very cultured and respectful people

The only difference is there is no one like Asad Umar in PML-N, and its people like Asad Umar who hold the real power in PTI. Chohan is a good spokesman, who knows how to handle PML-N.
