Hello I need your suggestions and expert opinion regarding a small passenger airplane. We are a very small company but our business requires visits quite often within USA and even outside (UAE and Australia ). To facilitate and faster arrival, our board of directors have passed USD 1.25 million for the purchase and maintenance of small airplane. With limited budget, we are pretty small company, we want an efficient air-transport to minimise the office to office travel time. Luckily our office is located less than 10 miles from CNI (Cherokee Country Airport). Right now we are considering both new and used but in good flying condition Cirrus SR22, UH-10, Diamond DA42VI Twin Star, Piper PA-44-180 Seminole, Beech G58 Baron, P68OBS etc. In addition, fractional ownership program from gulfsteam/netjet is also an alternative. We need expert opinions regarding the used vs new and fully owned vs partial owned solutions. We had an understanding to share a airplane with our sister organisation but unfortunately they have backed out at the last minute due to some reason. Thanks in advance!!!!

The Seneca V has everything you need for local business flying. Install Garmin G1000 avionics and youre looking at a pretty capable airplane that is ideal for business flying.

If you want to fly to UAE or Australia, it is cheaper to use airlines.
Thanks for suggestion. No it will only be used within US/Canada...for a continental flight I will use normal airlines and for more sustainable future are aiming to open local branches so as minimise travel costs and provide services

why not use a technological solution. Instead of buying an expensive plane, make a virtual meeting room. Now you might say there is a huge time difference between USA and Australia, but that wasn't part of your question.

We have been using TeamViewer, Gotomeeting, and right now developing our in-house solution for meetings since many clients demand more security. In addition, many clients (small to medium) cannot afford dedicated equipment and software so we have to transport it.

ok, what kind of company are you working in? Are you a programmer?

You can get your hands on Cessna Citation of Hawker Beechcraft with airframe time of 2-3000 hours for less than $1.5 million USD.

We deal with web security analysis and audit. So if the current cyberwar goes on.... we are pretty much in business. For a normal company it is once a year process but there are a lot of companies and we have quite a heavy workload right now.

And what do you do ?

Well that is not surely not in the range, at least in this fiscal year, since we are trying to open branches and that has a higher priority.

You can go for much cheaper prices, but those will have very less airframe time left.

Thank you. I'm thinking about about Baron 58P, we need a airplane for normally 2-3 people and upto 450 lbs of equipment to carry. In USA many of our clients are near airstrip or we get some lease of Hondajet for a year or so until more funds are available.

Have you considered the Boeings BBJs based on the late model 737s? Full sized airliner with the luxury and interior of a business jet
