Sudanese Air force interested in JF-17

Sudanese Air force visited JF-17 at ideas 2018 and showed keen interest in the multi role fighter jet.

The word is that UAE and Saudis might financially back their purchase of JF-17 and give them advance capabilities for counter terrorism opps.

Sudan signed and agreement for FT-2000 in 2015 for six advance trainer jets and and has started taking deliveries for them. Moving from FT-2000 JF-17 seem an obvious path forward for them.

Sudanese FT-2000 being rolled out in China.

They have to replace around 65-75 jets in the next 5 years,
Q-5s, F-7s , Mig 21s Su24s , SU25s , Mig 23s , J-6s etc
Damn how are they operating so many platforms.
4x Squadrons of thunders would help them replace all these jets.

They have bought 6 FT-2000 for training now they will train pilots and then replace jets. They will place order somewhere in 2019 or 2020

Now the Iran news is pretty much solid as Azerbaijan. Iran plans to start talks in 2019 and is already working on payment method with China.
