It seems not easy to use laser guided bomb because air turbulence moves the plane around and the pilot needs to keep the laser pointed at the target so the pilot has to adjust the joystick all the time. Only very well trained pilot can operate this.

It's not a pod. It's fuselage mounted, like on F-117 and F-35. So they don't use up hardpoints carrying pods.

EOTS just means electro optical targeting system. It can be fuselage mounted like on Su-24, Su-25, F-117, Su-34, F-35 or it can be a pod. Pod takes up a hardpoint so reduces payload.

why you're so dump, i already explain you ETOS for both air to air and air to ground fights, its FLIR SYSTEM on Su-34 or in any previous strike jet, does Su-24/Su-25/F-117/Su-34 has a long rang air intercept capability, The ANSWER is BIG NO, on Su-34 its FLIR system MAINLY INTENDED FOR GROUND ATTACK NOT FOR LONG RANGE AIR INTERCEPT and KEEP YOUR SELF CREATED TERM BY YOURSELF @minimi
