Su-30 successfully landed after a bird flew into one of the engine

. . .
The bird is not stupid. It is hopeless, surrounded by 7 billion power-hungry animals.

.
If the second video was a continuation of the CCTV footage, both the engines were working.

. . . . . .
I find this title very immature and offensive. Adminstration should make sure that area is clear of birds or pilot should take effective height level to avoid such incidents, loss of both is equally graveful, People are sold outs don't know how to respects other living things.

relax mate,

these things happening very oftern in other air fields, and that plane was just about to take off, with 400KM/per hour colliding speed, the bird will become mash potato before the pilot realising anything

Bird strikes have been a big headache to the IAF, especially for its single engined aircrafts. "Stupid" birds have brought down more aircrafts than PAF has!

It happens when airbases are located near large urban centers, because a lot of birds live in the vicinity to feed off the garbage and other urban waste.

The IAF now has a special ornithology cell to deal with this threat! And bird detection radars!:cheesy:

(I'm not joking.)

Indian air force counters birdstrike threat

IAF stations to get bird detection radar for averting birdstrike crashes
