Any update on the Mansehra-Thakot section? Someone was saying that it is also near completion and will be opened soon. I don't think he was correct. Can anyone here confirm or deny this? Also any idea when it is expected to be opened?

One can clearly see the difference in quality of this Chinese-built motorway (by Gezhouba group) in comparison to those FWO-built motorways (Swat motorway, Karachi-Hyderabad motorway etc). Hazara motorway truly seems of an international standard.

the Motorways have gone through radical changes, once these were considered as counter-productive for masses hence disliked, now becoming productive and beneficial. Will Abbottabad motoway end at Thakot or go along in mountains to China?

it will take time, they are accustomed to the chaos of the old one lane roads. perhaps time to retake driving tests (not used to that either, they are used to buying licenses rather than earning one by passing a competence test) also most of them do not yet know what all the road makings mean

did you also notice the video-maker cross that little roundabout from the right instead of going around the little circle and ending up on the wrong side of the road?

mebbe not, but have you ever driven on a UK A-road namely A1 (M)?
