What's new

Streets of Philadelphia, Kensington Avenue

Beijing did have homeless people in the past, but I haven't seen any in several years already. Ask any foreigners living in China and see if they see any homeless people in Chinese cities. I can't say that homelessness is absolutely zero in China but they are extremely rare. one homeless person can hit the local news in China, the problem in US is wide spread homelesses, not couples of unlucky folks living on the street and you have to search the whole city to find them.

It's not that widespead. Its mostly in poor sections of old cities.

I saw homeless people in almost every street in New York, and not even just on the ground, many even live under ground in the subway. Funny thing is many of them have a shopping cart, where did they get those carts, I always wonder.

Yeah, but NYC isn't the entire US and most of the population of the US does not live in major cities. For instance one of the above videos mentioned #8 Boston. Boston has a population of only 600,000 but the suburbs immediately surrounding Boston have 3.5M.

US looks much worse now than when I lived there...

They're drug addicts. I read on the comment section, someone offered them foods but they declined. They want money (to buy drugs) not foods

Many aren't in public housing because they got kicked out for being criminals or troublemakers. They aren't going to make law abiding poor people subjected to unsafe conditions due to troublemakers.

This is what I pointed out of what's far worse than homelessness, a large decadent society.

many of those who are on the streets, are drug addicts and lazy idiots who does not want to work, there are hundreds of thousands of odd jobs in USA which can get you a stable life, even Amazon pays up to 18$ an hour to its warehouse employee's, Drugs problem in USA is getting worse and it destroys lives, I live in a small town and have seen many young, old , girls , boys doing drugs (Weed & Mushroom), but at least many of them are still living in trailer homes, but still have a stable lives. Coming across the streets like these, is unfortunate that they people will just go and place a tent in a big city, why not find a decent size town in any of the 50 states of US and get a odd job and rent a place? Now before you say rent is too high so as I mentioned go to a decent size town not a city, in towns you can get apartments or shared rooms in between 500-1000$ per month.

Yes that's what happened in China during end of Qing dynasty. Many of Chinese were opium addicts at that time. They're lazy, weak, and got bullied by foreigners. USA could ended like Qing dynasty if drug problem getting worse

We need to build a free food/housing community in the Arizona desert where these people can be sent to make things like license plates.

they will run from there too, and make a slum out in the desert as well, these people are just lazy and no amount of help will satisfy them.
