Citizens for Peace and Harmony (CPH) has taken a strong note of alleged stone-throwing by miscreants at Kashmiri Pandits colonies at Hawal, Pulwama, Kashmir, on Diwali night, which houses employees engaged under the Prime Minister’s employment package.
In a statement issued here by CPH president, King Bharati, the organisation condemned the stone-throwing incident and castigated the state government and the local administration for failing to secure the employees despite being the fifth incident in the colony.
Bharati who met a delegation of Hawal Kashmiri Pandit colony residents, who are serving in the Valley under the Prime Minister’s Special Employment package for Kashmiri Migrants, expressed concern over the casual approach of the state government over such incidents saying the employees have submitted a memorandum to the Relief Commissioner Migrants at Jammu to take immediate steps to prevent such incidents.
