The rare existing Educational institutes of Pakhtoons are replaced with sanctuaries,moderates religion scholars with radical Mullahs,curriculum is designed to brainwash the innocents,and the "Protectors of country" corrupts a Pashtuns generation.Russia loses the war,US leave the theatre but our mighty generals need a proxy gvt in Afghanistan.We still need talibans and jihadi doctrine,Early days of 21st century,Jihadi doctrine is still in good affect,results orienting,generals are now in power,they are happy with tribals.2 tribal generations have groomed under jihadi doctrines,all of sudden US is hit by a terrorist attacks,heroes of 80's are to be blamed,they are now terrorists and a danger to World's peace,oh yes US needs allies ,generals are in power and happy to cooperate but they have to cut ties with heroes of yesterday! Balochs are also terrorists! and now stereotype all Pukhtuns to terrorists! why don't we bring into courts all the generals responsible for bengal massacre,or let the one prosecuted who pushed the whole country in to a bleeding and unending war or bring into spot light all those who compiled the Jihadi Doctrine and radicalized our own people!

Root cause is not they are pushtun but is because we considered FATA and lawless land for 60 years. We never made FATA our land never enforced Pakistani laws there and abused the people using political agents

On. Why not we talk about FATA which is ruled by central govt. Last I checked center was either controlled by punjabis or Sindhi's or by muhjirs.
If you won't make an infrastructure there both educational and recreational because you have to buy a castle in Dubai or London.

There are lot of School, colleges and universities in KPK on par with Punjab. Male literacy rate of KPK is highest in Pakistan (female literacy is very low though). Yet it doesnt stop any one from stereotyping about them along with FATA and Afghanistan ones. Political diversity and richness in KPK is also astonishing.

This rising Pashtun-phobia in Pakistan in the last ten years, is awakening of deep phobia and terror that was inflicted on their ancestors by central asian invaders, unfortunately every invader from west was incorrectly believed to be a Pashtun.

Spot on, as my self I never name a sucide bomber as a Pashtoon or any other cast but for sure there are few places which lands are perfect to fertile and grow up that SOCH( think ) we are fighting with.

It can not be described as that fear of seeing a beast or monster, its phobia from them on the pattren of islamphobia, that bearded pashtun walking in my city might be a terrorist. For example, just weeks ago, islamabadi residents informed police that there are potential terrorists staying in their mosque. Police arrested them, but it turns out they were pashtun labourers from swat , charsada etc, involved in nearby construction project. Punjabi and sindhi mothers, along with the indian ones, still warn their kids not to go near any pathan or else they will be abducted in a bori and sold to slave labour. Just few days ago, a sindhi man told me that they used to run away in fear to their houses whenever a pathan clothes seller used to come to their village.

Tribals have given protection to all sorts of criminals under their so-called 'Pashton wali' code, and effectively prevented the law to apprehend them. When approached, the answer was simple "Yeg log hamari panah mein hein aur pur-aman hein", i.e. these people are under our protection, and are peaceful. There are many Pashtoon here in Malaysia and many of them are from Sawat and tribal areas too. Since most of them are shopkeepers, I tend to buy things from them and get to talk time to time. Almost all of them are against military operation yet admit that it happened because they were simple enough to host the terrorists. Well being simpleton is not a very good excuse to begin with because I am from Quetta and have rubbed shoulders with them for a very long period of time. Nothing is for free, and criminals or terrorists who are given protection in tribal areas pay their hosts in one form or another. For tribals, it was like a business, too bad their deal went wrong.
