Global coffee chain Starbucks Coffee has partnered with Tata Group to debut Tata Himalayan water brand at all its Singapore outlets.
This will mark the bottled water brand's foray into overseas markets. Currently the coffee chain operates 70 outlets across Singapore.
Acquired by Tata Group, Himalayan water will be sold along with other premium water brands such as Evian in Singapore.
Apart from Singapore, Starbucks plans to introduce this bottled water brand in other countries progressively at its outlets. The next market rollout is expected to be in the US, reported Times of India.
Currently operating more than 20 outlets in India, the coffee giant plans to triple the number of outlets in India in the near future as part of its strategy to grow outside the US.
Starbucks operates Tata Starbucks stores in India through a 50-50 joint venture with Tata Global Beverages.
