A great deal of Hollywood's SFX work gets done in India now. Because they get what they want; for much lesser cost.

That`s good news, but why are Bollywood special effects still utter crap ?
Is it because the US companies dont allow others to use their software ? Or are they still to expensive for out industry?

I first thought that this was a video game when I saw this when the trailer came out ^^

I don't know if those are really the reasons. It has more to do with the Principal or Client setting higher standards.
I know only a little about the VFX/SFX industry but know a little bit more about the CG industry in general. There is a very small Orgn in Western India that does work for clients like Rolls-Royce, Lotus and F1. I know that the Client Reqmts are awesome, but these guys deliver.

Watched the whole movie.Quite good.Especially the fight scenes were nice...burning men fighting scene.I think its based on pavlov's house in certain aspects.But english version with dub was horrible to hear.I prefer the russian version with subtitles.
Still my favourite stalingrad movie was enemy at the gates..despite its less realistic nature at parts.
The german stalingrad 1993 was also an awesome movie.

I have watched this before the whole series infact,this and battlefield britain series.Quite good.

It does,a little more than i liked.It dampens the action in the middle.
