Raees is 'beimaan' film, Kaabil is for 'deshbhakts': BJP National GS strikes again
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya has attacked Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Raees. He has also called Hrithik Rosha-starrer Kaabil a film for India lovers.

Seems like meeting the main man Raj Thackeray did not do the needful for Shah Rukh Khanand his upcoming film Raees.

In December last year, Shah Rukh met Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray and assured him that Pakistani actor Mahira Khan would not be promoting Raees in India. Mahira is playing the character of Raees's wife in the film.

When all was looking good, just yesterday, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya hit out at Shah Rukh Khan's film on Twitter, four days ahead of the film's release

In his tweet, without naming Shah Rukh Khan or anybody associated with Raees, Vijayvargiya, among other things, equated 'Raees' with black money holders.

Vijayvargiya's message went as follows, "Ab bari desh ki kaabil janta ki hain, jo kaabil hain, uska haq koi beimaan raees na chin paye" (Now it's the time for our country's 'kaabil' people. May the corrupt 'raees' not snatch away what belongs to those who are 'kaabil'.)

While Raees is the name of Shah Rukh Khan's film releasing on January 25, Kaabil is the title of Hrithik Roshan's film that is releasing on the same date.

Vijayvargiya also wrote, "Jo raees desh ka nahi, woh kisi kaam ka nahi. Aur ek kaabil deshbhakt ka saath, toh hum sabhi ko dena hi chahiye." (A 'raees' who does not belong to the country is of no use. However, we should all stand by 'kaabil'patriots.)

Vijayvargiya has a history of targeting Shah Rukh Khan. Back in 2015, when Shah Rukh got caught up with the "intolerant" controversy before the release of Dilwale, Vijayvargiya had tweeted, "Shah Rukh Khan lives in India, but his heart is in Pakistan. His films make crores here but he finds India intolerant," and "When many died in Bombay in 1993, where was Shah Rukh Khan? When 26/11 attacks took place in Mumbai, where was Shah Rukh?"

This was in reference to Shah Rukh saying on his 50th birthday, during a media interaction, that not being secular and "religious intolerance" is the worst crime a patriot can do.

The BJP leader later took down those tweets
