Sri Lanka's Joint Military Exercise - Cormarant Strike
A joint Army, Navy and Air Force exercise code-named 'Cormorant Strike' conducted, Around 2,500 Security Forces personnel are taking part in the exercise.
In addition 40 naval ships & aircrafts including SLNS Shakthi naval vessel, Kafir jets, MI-24 helicopters, Y-12 aircrafts & MI-17 helicopters joined in the exercise.
Sri Lanka Army commandos & Special Forces directly involved in ground battle. The amphibious landing was jointly coordinated by senior security officials in the Sri Lankan Security Forces.
