Sri Lanka Cricket announces ODI, T20 Squads for upcoming Pakistan series

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced their One-day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals squads for the upcoming tour to Pakistan. After senior cricketers backed out, Lahiru Thirimanne will lead the ODI team while Dasun Shanaka will take over the job of the T20I side.

The Islanders have agreed to visit Pakistan as the host try to bring cricket back to their country. Sri Lanka will play three ODIs and T20Is each starting from September 27.

Pakistan should try to include some credible current cricketers from SA, Australia, England and Newzeland in next PSL, the retired chaps shall not be much helpful in bringing back the full fledged cricket in the country. Their cricket board was quite happy with the security arrangments and thisara perera and few others also played in Pakistan with world X11, I think it's the BCCI which must have coerce these players to not to tour Pakistan for the upcoming series considering that quite a lot of them play in the IPL.

Stop spouting horse crap. If your nation had the power to do so, it would ban our cricket team outright. You have already repeatedly tried to stop various sportsmen and cultural representatives from entering your nation because they were simply Pakistani....not terrorists, or some security threat....simply Pakistani. You have been slapped down by several international sports bodies regarding these attempts. But despite being only partly successful, the fact remains your pathetic nation has CONSISTENTLY tried to sabotage our sports and arts repeatedly. Initially it was due to direct state interference (as your cricket board stupidly and openly admits) but more and more we witness a shameless self-modulation of behaviour by individuals and professional bodies to reflexively deny interaction with Pakistani sportspersons or cultural figures.
