Hundai Pakistan supported a legitimate freedom struggle. That is honorable imo.


Why do India insist on keeping Kashmir? I have a impression that Indians ridicule Islam and muslims online. Then why so much money and effort to keep a muslim majority land under India control?

Or maybe i am wrong and most indians are not islamophobic. Are the online trolls only a loud minority?

Its more to do with ego associated with the idea of a nation state. India does it, Pakistan does it, people suffer and perpetrate the suffering as well. The British never want to leave the Falklands etc.

Online anti-Muslim Indian trolls are a minority as of now but India is becoming more intolerant. In fact by and large the world is becoming more intolerant and leaders and people are busy shouting all the time.

Its the buying power of those 1.4 billion vs 200 million. In India Hyundai sells 500000 cars a year vs less than 8000 in Pakistan. Economics matter. Hyundai Pakistan went over its worth.

Are the numbers correct for sales in Pakistan, because with those numbers Hyundai is selling 62.5 times more cars in India which has a population of 7 times more than Pakistan.

Hyundai entered Pakistani market in 2017 with sales starting from 2020. Hyundai entered Indian market in 1996 with sales starting from 1998.

Currently only 3 models are offered in Pakistan. Elantra, Sonata and Tuscon. While 10+ models are available in India.
There is no small hatchback like Santro i10 or i20 in Pakistan. In India these small hatchbacks make upto 60% of sales, costing less than a million INR.
Cheapest one 'Hyundai Elantra' in Pakistan costs 4.2 million PKR. And surprisingly it sells less than 'Hyundai Sonata' which costs 8.0+ million.
