South Korea's whaling plan beggars belief - The Drum Opinion - South Korea's announcement that it intends to begin so-called scientific whaling in the north Pacific came as a shock to many. (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

So korea has decided to join in Japan's notoriously retarded 'scientific' whaling? Are the gains worth the international condemnation?

Whales are beautiful and rare animals and the killing process is slow and awfully bloody - explosive harpoons, live flaying etc.

scientific my ***.. and what knowledge has japan gained from all these years of "scientific whaling" ?? nothing... the scientific community learns more from studying live specimens...

this is a load of crap, it is nothing more then an excuse to hunt whales for consumption
