South China Sea Heating Up As Malaysia Lodges Complaint

I wouldn't apologise to you just because some Malaysian cheated your money. A country is poor for a reason, just like your own motherland.
Yes, racial politic is part of the game in Malaysia. I don't need to explain more because it is internal politic.
I have faith with my leader when they handle international relation; well, i mean my leader wouldn't make a statement that China is Nazi state on international stage. :coffee:

bro, have you ever been to Malaysia? I do. more than once. first, I can give you a tip: take care of malay taxi drivers. they cheat you without hesitation.

I don´t think the malays have the guts to confront the Chinese aggression in the south china sea. if they do, I will applaud them. but the Chinese play a dangerous game. by pushing their illegal claims that will increase the racial tension in Malaysia. what is malaysia? a virtually divided country, with malay and chinese as main ethnics. they are too different, like day and night, hating each other to the core. more than chinese and vietnamese ever been. while chinese see the malays lazy and stupid, the malays see chinese as greedy and corrupt.

See, that's the Vietnamese spirit! Always kind, respectful, truthful and compassionate.

Do you want me to create a cai luong thread in the members section? We can chill there. @Huan you can join too.
oh nice, cai luong. but pls don´t create such a thread on this. because I´m afraid our friend huan won´t understand at all. here we go off-topic.

Ok stop with the personal bickering. We are all adults here (fyi, I am 87 years old).

I don't think there would be any problem. What @Huan is doing here is almost like cai luong already, all we just need to do is to provide the music.

Malaysia Toughens Stance With Beijing Over South China Sea - WSJ

China would probably need to issue an official apology to Malaysia. If not, then what was the reason to anchor a Chinese coast guard boat inside Malaysian water? What purpose does it serve other than to piss off the once low key Malaysia? Just utterly irrational.
apologize for what, freedom of navigation, read it again, it's inside the EEZ, which is LEGAL for all military or civilian aircraft or ships, as long as they are not conducting economic actions inside it.

We can pass through with our destroyers or surveillance and it's legal.

The Malaysians have no right to demand an apology as this is well within international norms and law.

here is the quote on where the Chinese ship was.
Chinese coast guard ship anchored at Luconia Shoals, an area about 150 kilometers north of the Malaysian island of Borneo, and far inside the 400-kilometer exclusive economic zone Malaysia claims off its shoreline.

Holy! That is unsual, for a grandpa to use the Internet.
Dude.. Seriously ??

Can't you tell by the way I talk? Always very respectful and mature.

My birthday is next month, so turning 88, and counting.

Btw, that's not me in the avatar. Although if I were to get a facelift, I would kind of look like that monk.

No, what foreign vessels are only allowed to do is called "innocent passage",as stipulated by UNCLOS. It means foreign vessels are free to transit through its EEZ. Thats all UNCLOS allows foreign vessels to do. It does not say you can just anchor and stay put in people's EEZ, show me which UNCLOS articles allow you that? Why do you think Malaysia has decided to file a complaint if the CCG has done nothing wrong?

And btw, if you accept freedom of navigation, then tell me why did the Chinese navy captain tells the US P8 aircraft to go away? They were flying outside the 12nm waters, so the Americans were "within international laws and norms". So why Chinese captain demand them to "you go!!"???

Of course not, I could pretend to be a 10 year old kid. Don't trust the internet. Where are you from?

It broke down, lol, cause you know, made in China, and then we fix it, cause our standards are so low.

Malaysia can do whatever they want, they can file a complaint, fire a shot, make a sandwich and catch a baseball game, it's up to them, we're not their masters.

The reason why we can do what we do is the same as the one we don't need to answer to anybody.

Never heard a 88 years old, still using self proclaimed words.:woot:

well duh, because China claim that areas as their territories, not their EEZ, course they will ask the P8 to go away.o_O

My dear child,

When you've reach my age, it is no longer meaningful to ask where I'm from. The more meaningful question would be, where will I be going soon?

It broke down, lol, cause you know, made in China, and then we fix it, cause our standards are so low.

Well, you are free to hold on to that attitude. But I know that deep down inside your heart of hearts, an innocent voice is asking, why? why did the CCG need to do that? was it even necessary to do that to a country that was staying low key?

Never heard a 88 years old, still using self proclaimed words.:woot:

Young lad, you are a bit rude to be adressing an elderly like that. Please address me as uncle.

And no, international law says territorial waters only goes out to 12nm from the coast. The P8 was flying outside 12nm.

No, it's not just the island or reefs that both China and Vietnam claim to be theirs, if not why Vietnam change the SCS to East Sea.

Still you don't say to others that you're respectful and mature, that's depends on the peoples who read your posts.

You are wrong again young lad, Vietnam's claims are different from China. Vietnam only claims the islands in the SCS and its surrounding territorial waters and where EEZ are allowed. VN does not claim the whole body of the SCS water. Renaming it East sea does not mean Vietnam is claiming the whole sea, same for the Philippines renaming it WPS. However, China claims nearly the whole SCS water with the 9-10 dash lines. Vietnam have never declared any official dash lines like China, any lines you see are from the foreign media. On the other hand, the Chinese 9-10 dash lines are published officially by China+Taiwan government.

Good try my dear young lad. Also it seems like you've revived your "revu" account just to debate me. I feel honored. :smitten:

Just as you said, that China claim most of SCS as their territories, it just means that what China do to the P8 are justified, because it's entering their territories.

One thing that i'm curious, why you ask me to call you uncle, when others call u grandpa?o_O
