From last few weeks, advertisement on PDF have been turning into a nuisance..sometimes advertising a retarded fashion brand by the name of "nasty girl" or matrimonial like "find girls in KSA"...quite a spoiler of online experience..so I ran some magic today..and voila..no more silly ads! trick works on all the websites...

These kinds of ads are really annoying especially when you are at work. What co-relation does "Nasty girl" has with machine tools? I never searched about martimony but for a long time ads on PDF were "Find Pakistani girls in KSA"...

The ads depend on the keywords attached to the page you are viewing. This includes the thread topic and posts in the thread.

On your browser, do Right-click, "View page source" and look for the line <meta name="keywords"

For example,

The ads are individually targeted. Not everyone gets the same ads.

It means that your work computer has been accessed by someone who was searching for those KW's. Clear cache and goto Google privacy / history settings and switch them off.

Although I agree ads are annoying, I don't turn ads off... It helps the creator of the websites and also may feed their family... Especially sites like YouTube.

Everytime you load the page it costs money, therefore it is suggested to keep the advertisements on that may be your interest. Clear cookies, history, so google gives a more accurate ads for yourself.
