If you want to play that game, Soleimani was supporting Sunni Palestinians while your " Sunni" governments were falling over each other to sidle up to Jews and Americans ..who made a sport out of killing Sunnis.

Iran is a nation that has been under ( illegal and unfair) crippling sanctions and even in that weakened state, feared by its Arab neighbors run by despots . It lost millions of people in Saddam's invasion.
Is it a surprise it is looking out to prop it's only Arab ally from falling to the enemy camp--esp when they started to systematically butcher Shias and also Sunnis not following their version?
In fact Iran has won the respect of many unbiased observers for the way they have stood by their allies ( eg Houthi, Hezbollah, Palestinians, PMU) through supplying funds, arms, training and technology inspite of being under dire straits. Their steadfastness can be an example for other Muslims.
In contrast, Sunni governments are reported to be rushing to celebrate Hanukkah in the Western wall
