Soldier killed in ongoing gunfight in Handwara

An army man died during an ongoing gunfight near the Line of Control (LoC) in Handwara area of north Kasmir's Kupwara district on Tuesday,
The gunfight broke out between militants and government forces near the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowgam sector of frontier district of Kupwara on Tuesday, police said.

A top police official said that the encounter erupted in Nowgam sector of Handwara after forces challenged a group of militants.
An army spokesman confirmed to PTI news agency that a soldier had died in the firefight.

They killed a school boy yesterday ----- Kashmirs taking Revenge 19 soldiers killed in 2 different attacks . I think the mindset of Kashmirs after Burhans death is that they would get killed by Indian forces anyways even if they are doing peaceful protests unarmed then why not take up arms and resist the Indian forces and die fighting .
