The hypocrisy and lies by fake socialists / communists are so numerous and blatant that they clearly are deliberate attempt of provocations to drive a wedge between real socialists and non-socialists. They are feeling pressure due to proactive government of Modi. Hence the spurt in these desperate antics. It's a fun game to search hypocrisy and lies in their posts.

Fake socialists shed crocodile tears and exaggerate number of farmer suicides but are dead opposed to elimination of exploitative middlemen who eat into profits of common farmers.

.
What's the ulterior motive behind fake socialists advocating ban of private vehicles? Don't believe the excuses (although apparently valid excuses) fake socialists give. Criminals never admit their guilt unless cornered.

So what's the real reason?

If private vehicles are banned, women would be forced to travel in public transportation. This would give perverts more opportunities to ogle at women and to make inappropriate physical contact with them.

Now you know.

Fake socialists advocate disbanding of Indian military but have no qualms about even making children (underaged soldiers) fight for militaries of other countries!!

Socialism is a joke, Punjab CM shamelessly begging the central government for ₹50,000 crore to “improve Punjab’s financial condition (which is ruined by Scamgress socialism btw)” and yet instead of bringing industires will use this to pay back loans and distribute freebies. This is what happens in Kerala and thats pretty much why Kerala model is just a facade of communist idiots.

its a small island they don't "need" manufacturing, agriculture or anything of that sort
tourism and educated remittance was good enough if handled properly - for SL it wasn't a bad model

Economies don’t work that way, Manufacturing doesn’t mean large scale SEZs but atleast basic stuff. Tourism alone can’t help you, Kerala government takes debt to give freebies. And this is going the SL way. Pakistan’s CAD for example is high because of lack of manufacturing which can reduce import dependence and increase exports. For a brief amount of time its good but when import dependence grows then so does the CAD. Even in case of India we’re still a services export oriented economy (we import a lot of services too), thats why India needs manufacturing to reduce the CAD, Kerala especially.

@Kamikaze Pilot man it looks more like an emotional outburst instead of a discussion thread. I'd suggest you to write policies that you are against and let the socialists respond to that. It may teach everyone of us something, what do you think?

I am not against any policies. I am just pointing out hypocrisies, lies and half-truths. The onus is on fake socialists to explain why they have different standards for India and for countries that they don't hate.

Like i said, write one by one the policies/inaccuracies/half truths and hear their perspective as well. I mean what you are saying about Indian socialists is also said about Pakistani socialists or American socialists for that matter. It would be nice to engage them on their policies, get their response/explanation and know more about it. I know you can write very well.

Read posts #2, #3 and #4 individually without connecting it to OP. It would seem coherent.

Fake socialists don't bother to answer inconvenient questions while typing long replies to convenient ones thus creating a facade of sincerity.

100% Socialism is about as realistic as Narnia,. No country on earth has ever been able to achieve it nor ever will. Why? Because the world runs on realpolitik, not idealism. The key is to be able to balance one's growth ambition with a basic humane touch of socialistic aspects,. Any country infected by socialism 100% has collapsed or has turned out to be a basket case.

Case & point, India's command economy model followed by the Leftist-Secularist governments that drew inspiration from USSR. This model stagnated growth, increased inefficiency and led to untold corruption behind people's backs.

The one good thing that Pakistan did was adopt a capitalistic model with some hues of socialism early on. I remember reading some journals where Pakistan was aiming to be the next Turkey way back under Gen. Ayub Khan. He was a firm proponent of increased liberalised trade, privatisation and globalisation.

Unfortunately, socialists live in their own lala land and expect others as well to subscribe to their theory.

The 350,000+ Indian farmers suicide number between 1995 and 2015 I often quote is from official records. And this middleman thing is part of the story. The main problems are the interest-based loans where additionally the small loans never will turn the farmer into an Ambani because nothing is free in India so the loan will be diverted to things like education and medical treatment and also there are the social elements like money-based mass-attended weddings and things like year-round festivals and tri-annual religious pilgrimages.

Uttar Pradesh state being ruled by that BJP bigot and crook, Yogi, is also a non-industrial state whose economy mainly runs on remittances from laborers who work in other states and neither it has any "high-end services" nor is it a welfare system society.

What different standards ?

That shows your thinking which unfortunately also infects many Indians which is to not experiment with vastly better ideas of political, socio-economic and technological systems than India has had since 1947. India is always a late follower instead of an innovator or an early adopter. Hence no such things like Elon Musk first arising from India. If India is to continue as it now the country will be forever be one of injustice, disparity, oppression, chaos and disharmony in all of which India is the most extreme in human history. India will continue thus forever until some external force will change it. I don't know what all the forces will be but they will include the changed world order based on the Ukraine war, space travel whose most exciting element will be the first human landing on Mars before the end of this decade which will be done by SpaceX and lastly, in ten years or so the call all over the world for a borderless Earth and other Communist elements.

The key is to be able to balance one's growth ambition with a basic humane touch of socialistic aspects,. Any country infected by socialism 100% has collapsed or has turned out to be a basket case.

"Infected with Socialism"... Even the biased UNO agreed some years ago that war-ravaged Syria which is governed by a Socialist model is better in human development factors than India and Pakistan.

When did India have leftist governments ? In fact I quote my thread from 2015 which is about how the Indian establishment under prime minister Rajiv Gandhi would have helped Zia ul Haq get back into power in case he was overthrown by Pakistani Socialists and Communists. Rajiv Gandhi didn't want Pakistan to become yet another South Asian country to become Communist after Afghanistan because he probably thought that such an event would enthuse the Indian Communists and some of the public to call for Communist governance in India. I quote the OP :
Washington: Contradicting perceived proximity to the Soviet Union in the Cold War era, India under the then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi had toyed with the idea of supporting anti-Russian civilian groups in Pakistan if the then Zia regime was thrown out by Moscow, a recent declassified CIA document has claimed.

According to CIA documents of the era, which were recently declassified and posted on the CIA website under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), which is similar to India's Right to Information Act, Gandhi wanted non-interference from both the United States and the then USSR. "Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi would like both the USSR and the United States to end their involvement in South Asia," noted the 31-page CIA document titled 'The Soviet Presence in Afghanistan: Implications for the Regional Powers and the US'.

While taking note of the historic India-USSR relationship in particular in the defence field, the CIA report of April 1985 noted that India is likely to become increasingly concerned about long-range Soviet intentions in the region and could find itself moving towards confrontation with the Soviets if Pakistan was effectively neutralised.

"New Delhi regards Pakistan as a strategic buffer against the USSR and would oppose Moscow's effort to dominate Pakistan. New Delhi and Moscow would find themselves supporting rival factions within Pakistan," said the report, according to which Moscow had plans to change the regime in Pakistan and extend its influence beyond Afghanistan. In that case, the report said, "The Indians would seek to significantly reduce their dependence on Moscow and reorder their strategic relationship with the USSR, the United States and China if they perceived Soviet ambitions as extending beyond Afghanistan toward the subcontinent."

According to the report, the Soviets tried to heighten India's suspicion about Pakistan's intentions and its security relationship with the US in order to foster Indo-Pakistani tensions and heighten New Delhi’s dependence on Moscow. "In Soviet view, conflict between India and Pakistan would work toward solving Moscow's Afghan problem and would give Moscow opportunities to strengthen its position in South Asia," the report said.

"If (Gen) Zia (Ul Haq) regime were to fall, the Indians might try to prevent Soviet attempt to dominate Pakistan by supporting rival Pakistani political factions, Soviet military moves against an already neutralised Pakistan could even result in military confrontation with India," it added.

Six months later when Gandhi was planning to meet General Zia on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meeting in New York, the CIA analyzed that the then Indian Prime Minister, despite his strong public views on Pakistan's nuclear weapons program, was unlikely to push him hard on it. "Gandhi is unlikely to push Zia hard about the Pakistani nuclear program, although he probably will at least mention his continuing concern," noted the top secret CIA document dated October 21, 1985.

"For his part, Zia is also likely to propose ideas on ways to improve the bilateral relationship. He may suggest regular high-level diplomatic talks in addition to the formal Joint Commission sessions that focuses on trade, communications and cultural exchanges," the report said. "Zia may also solicit Gandhi's views on whether as the Pakistanis believe the Soviets are becoming serious about a negotiated settlement in Afghanistan," it said.
