I myself have been watching covid stats daily for my own curiosity using https://ourworldindata.org/covid-vaccinations

My observation gives me higher confidence in mRNA-based vaccines than others, including viral-vector like AZ, Sputnik, Johnson or CanSino and inactivated virus like Sinovac. Several data points to show:

1. Between Chile and Israel, which have very close vaccination ratio, Chile has much higher daily confirmed cases and deaths, despite being under lock down while Israel has much lower infection rate despite almost fully open. That is between inactivated virus-based vaccine and mRNA-based.

2. Between Canada and Israel as Canada is quickly catching up with Israel in vaccination ratio, Canada has even lower infection rate while under lock-down. Both use mRNA-based vaccines.

3. Between UK and Canada, which also have very close vaccination ratio, both use 4-step reopening plan. Canada is at step 2 while UK is at step 3. UK has much higher infection rate and takes a pause at step 3. UK uses a mixture of AZ and Pfizer/Moderna while Canada uses Pfizer/Moderna predominately. It will be interesting to see how Canada fares when it takes step 3 on July 16.

Meanhwile Abu Dhabi, which preferred more of the Sinopharm has less than 3% cases of UAE.

3.Mongolia: Mongolia has received 2,600,540 vaccines through COVAX, the AstraZeneca and Pfizer brands and purchased 131k of SputnIk from Russia like the satellite state they are,so that's a total of 2.7 m of non Chinese vaccine;Mongolia only got 300K sinopharm from china as donation , so how are they relying on Chinese vaccine?

4. Chile & Uruguay:. There the cases are dropping as soon as inoculation has reached near 60 % .

UK has been mainly using a combination of Pfizer and AstraZeneca in the ratio 1:2.

Pfizer is better at stopping symptomatic disease(90%+), although the UK government has reduced its efficacy by spacing the dosing interval to 12 weeks from the manufacturer recommended 3-4 weeks. Hospitalisations are also surging as giving the 2nd dose after more than 6 weeks does not give the optimum protection as immunity rapidly wanes after the initial boost from the 2nd dose.

Although AstraZeneca is very good against hospitalisation and death after the 2nd dose, it is less good against symptomatic disease(70%) and so the virus can spread more easily when this vaccine is used.

So if the take the unique circumstances of the UK out due to partly not following manufacturer dosing guidelines, then we can clearlty see this is a result of using Chinese vaccines and they are the weakest vaccines out there. Far better than nothing but just be aware they are not as good as other vaccines.

According to Western logic, this is obviously strong evidence. Just as a small bottle can prove the existence of WMD in Iraq. The confessions of eight individuals can prove that there is genocide in Xinjiang. The photos of the parking lot can prove the outbreak of the epidemic in Wuhan in September. A media report can prove that China's vaccine is ineffective.
