Six members of the Popular Mobilization Forces, an official Iraqi militia organization with ties to Iran, were killed in another U.S. drone strike in northern Baghdad on Friday, multiple officials told Newsweek. The strike comes a day after President Donald Trump approved an operation that killed an elite Iranian general.

Pentagon officials told Newsweek Friday evening the operation was targeting Imam Ali Brigades with a "high probability" the strike resulted in the death of its leader, Shubul al-Zaidi. The U.S. operation that targeted Zaidi was apart of the same degradation effort Trump approved Thursday morning, which killed Iranian Revolutionary Guard Quds Force commander Major General Qassem Soleimani.

Soleimani was assassinated during a visit to Iraq. Khamenei never travels abroad.
This was an unpredictable move which is unprecedented in modern history. Assassination of a military figure in a third country is state-level terrorism and nobody expected it from the US. It's not a military achievement. It's just a cheap, dangerous move that will lead to further escalation.

well , Iraqis invited Soleimani and he traveled there with a public civil air craft which its flight date and time and route is well known even in ordinary flight monitoring sites ....

the first and most simple step for us is to wait and get the body of Shahid Suleimani then wait to see if Iraqi parliament will officially ask USA to leave Iraq or not .... if they do , wow to USA , if they don't then I think rather radical step will taken by Iran leadership in both internal and external politics to prepare for Total war with USA and its allies ....

Dumbass for 41 years americans couldn't even eat our shit. We killed tens of their soldiers in Afghanistan & Iraq shot down and captured their Planes and detained their soldiers in Persian Gulf. Let's not forget that General Soleimani was the commander of the Quds Force. And the equal for the Quds Force in the region is the US CENTCOM. So, the commander of CENTCOM is an equal for Soleimani.
