no one supports LTTE in rest of india , they have their sympathizers in TN and tamil politicians are often criticized by mainstream indian media for being sympathetic to LTTE . Check some debates on youtube .

Yeah right, "only our govt. supports LTTE terrorists, trains them, finances them, arms then and sends out to carry terrorist activities in the neighboring countries. But hey, no one in India supports them.".

Oh man, indian logic is out of this world!

gandhis era of govt did a mistake and paid a price for it , there were better ways of making SL feel our anger on them helping you in 71 , in initial days bhindarwala was also with congress ...if we talk in todays context indian govt does not support LTTE , they have some sympathizers in TN for obvious reasons and even the educated & progressive class in TN doesn't support LTTE , watch subramanian swamy's take on LTTE support in TN & how it is harming our country , if we live in past we can never move forward.

.
how about nukes?

I think if they can be supplied with enough Ak47s and RPGs, no nukes may be required.

If Bihar, and Punjab can be supplied enough, with Kashmir coming alive anyway; it might come out to be nice engagement.

Nepal can be used for supply lines, now that most of the civil structure is down in that country.

What is your opinion ?

For the rest of the world it doesn't matter. Germany is still paying the price for what Hitler has done, only by saying that "well, it was another party" does not exonerate you from the crimes against humanity that your country has done against other countries.

Simple as that.

Lahore should be the capital of the new Sikh country. Apart from that, Balochis, Sindhis and Pathans must be freed from Punjabi army domination . A new country might also be needed for Shia and Ahmedis. These communities must learn from the Bangladeshis how to forcefully take their rights
You talk about pukhtun's In that manner you should be ready to bear the consequences.

Day After Unveiling, Prabhakaran's Statue Vanishes from Nagai Temple -The New Indian Express

NAGAPATTINAM: Public attention garnered by the remote South Poigainallur village near here following the installation of erstwhile LTTE chief Velupillai Prabhakaran’s statue was short-lived, after the statue was found removed under mysterious circumstances from the Sevugaraya Ayyanar temple during the wee hours of Saturday.

Even as some villagers and political outfits claimed that a team of police personnel had taken down the controversial statue clandestinely, the police denied the allegations and claimed that the statue was pulled down by the villagers themselves. After the Sevugaraya Ayyanar temple, located along the Nagapattinam and Velankanni coast, was constructed about six months ago by about 80 families of South Poigainallur and was subsequently consecrated on Thursday, the 5-feet tall statue of Prabhakaran had been attracting visitors reportedly from across the State.

Though the villagers had earlier said that the purpose of erecting Prabhakaran’s statue was only to impart courage and bravery to future generations, a section of the villagers on Saturday morning claimed that a battery of police personnel descended on the Ayyanar temple at about 1 am. They alleged that the statue of Prabhakaran, posing near a white horse statue and holding a rifle, was pulled down by the police team in their absence.

Bravery

He must have been very brave to live in a multi-story house with a swimming pool and his children were all sent to western countries for education. Meanwhile, he forced young kids from poor families to take arms and die for him and some were even abducted from schools. Scumbag. Hopefully he's rotting in hell.

Kanimozhi dismisses as baseless that she suggested surrender of LTTE leader Sasitharan - The Hindu

KANIMOZHI_2430921f.jpg

DMK MP and DMK chief Karunanidhi's daughter Kanimozhi.

Sasidharan's wife Ananthy had earlier said her husband had a conversation with Ms. Kanimozhi over satellite phone.

DMK MP Kanimozhi on Sunday dismissed as “completely baseless” the claim of the LTTE leader Sasitharan’s wife Ananthy that her husband surrendered to the Sri Lankan forces on her advice.

“I am not an authority to ask someone to surrender either on behalf of the Indian government or the Sri Lankan government. I do not know who is behind this story,” Ms Kanimozhi told The Hindu when asked about the claim made by Ms Ananthy, who is also Northern Provincial Council (NPC.)

Ms. Ananthy in an interview to this newspaper and her deposition before Mullaithivu Magistrate Court had said her husband had a conversation with Ms. Kanimozhi over a satellite phone before taking a decision on surrender.

“I even do not know who Mr. Sasitharan is, because he is not a front line leader of the LTTE. Secondly the suggestion of advising him over satellite phone is totally wrong,” she said, wondering whether anyone would advise a person to surrender to the Sri Lankan forces when the war was at its peak.

DMK spokesperson T.K.S. Elangovan also wanted to know whether anyone would repose faith in former Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa and urge a militant to take a decision of surrender.

“In 2009, we were constantly fighting with the Indian government seeking its intervention to stop the war and save the Tamils. Do you think we would have come out with the idea of surrender when we were not even able to convince the Indian government. There is no logic,” Mr Elangovan said.

He said anyone who knew the way the LTTE functioned would be clear that they were not an organisation to take advice from others when it came to the question of surrender.

“Would a cyanide-carrying LTTE cadre make a phone all the way from Sri Lanka about surrender,” he asked.

Outfits Demand Reinstallation of Prabhakaran Statue at Nagai Temple -The New Indian Express

NAGAPATTINAM: Urging the district administration to reinstall the statue of LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran in a temple near Nagapattinam from where it was removed under mysterious circumstances on Saturday, cadre belonging to Hindu Makkal Katchi submitted a petition to the Collector here on Monday.

Alleging that the police have forcibly removed the statue, cadre of Periyar Dravida Kazhagam too staged a protest near Sirkazhi old bus stand on Monday.

As the protesters did not obtain prior permission for the protest, Sirkazhi police detained 15 Periyar Dravida Kazhagam members. Similar protests condemning the removal of LTTE’s erstwhile chief’s statue was held by the advocates in front of the Mayiladuthurai judicial magistrate court.

According to the petitioner J Swaminathan, regional organiser of Hindu Makkal Katchi, Velankannai police personnel have forcibly removed the statue of the slain LTTE chief from the Sevugaraya Ayyanar temple in South Poigainallur village early on Saturday.

He also alleged that the police have threatened the locals and sought a written statement from the villagers saying that the controversial statue was razed down by the villagers themselves.

Stating that the installation of the statue of Prabhakaran was out of admiration of the villagers and that the statue installation in rural temples as guardian spirits is a tradition of people pursuing Hinduism to worship iconic people of good deeds, the petitioners sought the removed statue to be re-installed at the same temple in South Poigainallur village.

Swaminathan added that the removal of Prabhakaran’s statue has hurt the sentiments of Hindus. :yahoo:

Meanwhile, condemning the police for removing the statue from the Sevugaraya Ayyanar temple in south Poigainallur village, cadre of Periyar Dravida Kazhagam held a stir at the Sirkazhi old bus stand on Monday.

As the protesters flayed the police for removing the statue, Sirkazhi police detained 15 youth for staging the protest without obtaining permission from the police.

Similarly, Mayiladuthurai advocates condemning the removal of Prabhakaran’s statue from the temple near Nagapattinam observed a demonstration in front of the Mayiladuthurai judicial magistrate court.
