Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Qabas reported that the Saudi media broadcasted a news item published by CNN that Saudi Arabia launched a missile program with the help of China, and Riyadh did not deny the news.

"The Gulf region has been witnessing an arms race for decades and has become one of the most militarized areas in the world," a lengthy report from the Kuwaiti daily.

The newspaper also said rivalry between neighbors in the region would lead to an arms race "that would double the possibility of a large-scale war fueled by a cycle of fear and mistrust."

"The Shah of Iran has pushed the region towards a conventional arms race to confirm that he is the policeman of the Persian Gulf and Iran's expansionist regime is dragging the region towards a nuclear and missile race to confirm that it is the region's policeman," Qabas quoted UAE political analyst Abdul Khaliq Abdullah as saying.

"What Iran does not understand is that the Gulf states will not accept Iran as the region's policemen and will carry it with a weapon for a weapon, a missile for a missile and a bomb with a bomb," he said.

Abdul Khaliq warned of the outbreak of a "fourth war in the Arabian Gulf," against the backdrop of entering the region "a new stage of weapons' race because of Iranian policies."

"If the news is true, it is the responsibility of the Iranian regime that dragged the region into this situation. The kingdom has already warned time and again that if Iran goes ahead with its nuclear project, it may have to adopt the same project," said former Saudi Shura Council member Dr. Mohammad Al-Zalfa. Not by animosity but for deterrence, although the Kingdom's policy is based on the region's denuclearization, "But if we become between two nuclear states, Israel and Iran, both hostile to the Arab nation, we do not want to be easy prey for either or both."

Arabia has existed for longer than Iran. Keep dreaming. What will happen in 10 years is 1 single Arabian state.
eh no, the state Saudi arabia was not formed up until breakup of ottoman empire... most arab states are false states created by the colonials... and hencce it's not surprising they're in conflict all the time

Complete and utter nonsense. First of all I am talking about the ancient historical region known as Arabia and its history. Secondly none of the states are “fake”. Thirdly the Ottomans (majority of the Ottomans were Arabs, the language and culture was more Arabic than anything else, so was most of the land) never had much presence in Arabia and mostly where confined to Hijaz where the native Sharif of Makkah ruled. There are not any conflicts in Arabia other than Yemen which is a North and South divide. Other than that there is a so far completely peaceful dispute between most Arab states and the Qatari regime. As for the royal families (current dynasties in power) all of them have ruled for at least 300 years more or less so nothing fake about them either and they came to power long before the short British presence in the smaller GCC states. As for KSA it was unified by a local dynasty (House of Saud) and is composed of ancient (several millennia old) historical regions of parts of Arabia that KSA is made up of which mainly is Hijaz, Najd, Eastern Arabia, South and the North.
Go educate yourself a bit my Bangladeshi friend or stick to your own region if posting such nonsense. No offense.

In fact the only “fake” (as if all countries past and present in the world where not just lines on a map at the end of the day) we can talk about Kuwait and Qatar. The first should be part of KSA or divided between KSA and Iraq and Qatar should be part of KSA (Al Sharqiya province). UAE a bit of the same story.

Actually the first Saudi state was founded in 1744 before the United States in 1776. 32 years older.

Ask him how old he believes Hijaz, Najd, Eastern Arabia and Northern Arabia to be. Since recorded history began is the answer. Yet a country that contains the name Arabia (one of the oldest regions of the world) and covers much of Arabia (most in fact) is “fake” lol. What is his small Bangladesh then? One part Indian the other Bangladeshi. The later being less than 50 years old. PDF. No offense to any Bangladeshis or Bangladesh. Just an astonishing troll post.
