The IA (and IAF) rescue teams have been working day and night since this avalanche occured, this is why/how this survivor was found- hopefully this means there may be more survivors (fingers, everything, crossed).

according to livefist the survivor is lance naik Hanamanthapa Koppad .he is alive but in critical condition . i really hope they find more survivors .

ISRO wanted to go for moon man mission right......we should tell isro to set up facility to improve life of our army man in siachen and also better tracking system to find in case of avalanche, I believe they can do it.....

I have no doubt the IA and IAF are working flat out to help their comrades (if it is possible).

To be fair, DRDO are working on this continuously.

Avalanche modelling, rescue equipment, improved habitations etc etc it is all being done.
