Shut Down to rebuild Pakistan !

.
A nation is what its people are. It is not a complete separate entity to view it as something else.
By shutting down Pakistan, it surely means shutting down its population their daily activities, its system of governance.. meaning the public offices which are there to serve people which includes the local village office to the highest office , that is parliament and its functionaries and sub functionaries paralyzing the system and paralyzing the population.

The change if any has to be on the basis of people to people movement and the change has to come from inside the people as they make up the nation.
The disruptions of government and its daily activities and the frequent statements like "If I become PM , i will do this , I will do that .....is not at all related to great leaders.
A leader is not made out of chaos, anarchy and disruptions, but is born through popularity by his actions, words and should be ethical , objective, fair and reasonable.

Good leaders will make you feel safe, not scare you.

These constant dharnas and shutdowns in the long run will only drain the economy and create a practice of anarchy inside political circles in the coming years.

If by fate, IK becomes PM .. the opposition may do the same ... as getting a few people to gather and do the same is not so hard in the subcontinent.

Yes, as an Indian its none of my business. But this is a general statement holding true not only to Pakistan but also to India and even for state governments inside India.

Political ethics, the practice of making moral judgements about political action and political agents needs to be reinvented here.

Great post. Just about nailed it and that's how I feel. Especially the bolded part.

IK had/has a chance to follow the Modi route (minus the Gujrat controversy): Do a good job in KPK. But, unlike Modi--who had to wait a decade plus to prove himself--by 2018 NS would have **probably** imploded and the PM-ship was for IK to take. But a pea-brained megalomaniac like IK doesn't have the political brain to realize that.

.
why shut down is important..
Please make Imran Khan STOP!

Where are the specifics of his demands for reforms in the FIA, NAB and IB?

These are the kinds of institutions that need to be empowered, made independent and free of political influence and granted additional authority to handle political and organized crime across the country. Merely focusing on the 2013 elections offers Pakistanis nothing in the long term.

.
IK and his naya paksitan.... seems to be NWO . naya paksitan . hope yall know who you supporting there and what are his attentions.

what are they going to revolt against? bad governance? corruption? election rigging?
PTI has a clean chit on all of these.
give me one valid reason for them to protest. or are you saying they'll hold placards and storm govt offices just because they felt like it?

.
Modi wants Pakistan shut down too... is also a PTI supporter and Imran Khan fan.

You'll be surprised at how fully operational Pakistan will be on the 18th of December, 2014. As a matter of fact I welcome you to come watch how pathetic Imran Khan is about to make himself look in the coming weeks....an anti-Pakistan airhead making promises he can't keep, taking actions he can't justify and talking to idiots who will only realize they've been taken for fools once they hit puberty.

Pakistan will be open for business as usual.
If u define imran khan as anti pakistani... Then sir you are the most dumbest person i have ever witnessed to walk on the face of this earth please use protection while you reproduce or this world will be dissolved in such under iq minds which will destroy us...

FAISALABAD: The Anjuman-i-Tajran has announced that they will not be a part of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf protest on Dec 8.

However, PTI’s local Business Forum President Zafar Iqbal Sindhu said they would jam the district although the Punjab government was patting some leaders of traders who were on its payroll.

He said the government had also arranged a press conference of traders through the director general of the Public Relations Department.

Addressing a press conference, Traders Association President Shahid Razzaq Saka, flanked by some PML-N activists, said over 200 markets of Eight Clock Tower bazaars had rejected the PTI call for Dec 8 strike.

He said traders would react strongly if anyone tried to force them for the shutter down.

Mr Saka was the PML-N candidate for the PP-72 ticket, but the party had fielded Khawaja Liaquat, brother of former MPA Khwaja Islam, in the 2013 general elections. The seat has been lying vacant after the Supreme Court disqualified Khwaja Islam because of his fake degree.

Mahmood Alam, Haji Bashir and some other traders said sit-ins of the PTI had already damaged the businesses badly in the last three months.

They suggested PTI chief Imran Khan to stop doing negative politics and wait for the next general elections.

Meanwhile, Mr Sindhu told reporters the PTI would block all entry and exit points in the district and would not allow anyone to disrupt the peaceful protest.

He claimed that a majority of traders were united on the PTI platform, but the Punjab government was using some traders who were on its payroll.

He asked the DCO and the CPO to remain impartial in the wake of the PTI protest as they had information that the government was planning a crackdown on PTI workers.

WALK: The patrolling police arranged a walk on Thursday to create awareness among the masses to avoid road accidents.

Among participants of the walk were students, doctors, policemen and civil society members who were also carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans regarding the road safety.

The SSP (Patrolling) told reporters that road accidents could be minimized considerably by creating awareness among the masses.

How can KPK shutdown cause Imran Won from there there's no rigging done there the elections were free and fair it's only for the rest of Pakistan who didn't voted for hi now they will pay the price

. .
Make dharnas for electoral reforms, so that next time Imran can have a chance,

Strengthen independent election board, legal system and central investigation agency

Through this means let all party go through the elections..

You will get a better leader ..

Current strike will only add burden to your woes...
Instead identify good people in the above mentioned section, post them at top.. This alone would solve 50%
Rest will be in hands of the citizens..

.
@Leader

why not carpet bomb pakistan like germany to rebuild? Cuz that's what your folks are aiming for. Pakistan can be torn apart if Imran cannot become PM.

Your personal speculations about what Imran wants are not of any interest.

Nobody in Pakistan denies lots of rigging took place. So Imran is right to demand a fair examination of the ballot bags to see what really happened. Nobody could have a problem with this, except those criminals who benefit from the rigging.

what are they going to revolt against? bad governance? corruption? election rigging?
PTI has a clean chit on all of these.

Good point! There is a lot of sacrifice involved in dharnas, sit-ins, and protests. People don't just repeatedly do those things for fun, but only when they see a good cause being served.

ISLAMABAD: After Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan appeared before the election tribunal in Lahore, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Saturday claimed that the vocal PTI chief had failed to present any evidence of rigging and that he was trying to fool the nation without evidence.

According to a statement released by the PML-N, the party claimed that Imran had admitted before the tribunal on Saturday that he was incapacitated and could not recall much of the election, or names of those involved in rigging.

The PML-N statement included excerpts of Saturday’s questioning:

“Imran Khan was asked in tribunal court if he was on bed rest when the elections happened?

He said yes.

He was asked if he witnessed rigging first hand.

He said no.

He was asked who told him about the rigging.

He said a lot of people including polling agents, election agent and voters. He said he couldn’t recall the names of any as he had a severe head injury-concussion. He also said that his affidavit was dictated by Shoaib Siddiqui as he himself could not recall anything.

When asked, he said that he does not remember the oath commissioner who attested his affidavit in Lahore (the oath commissioner is based in Islamabad/Rawalpindi).

On provision of any documentary evidence to him or to any official specific to NA 122, Imran Khan said he had seen documentary evidence from throughout Pakistan but not of NA 122.

The statement further claimed that Saturday’s hearing proved that Imran was not only trying to fool citizens, but was also trying to get last year’s election invalidated through baseless statements.

The party further stated that verdicts cannot and should not be based on hearsay and that the PTI chief should not pressurise judges and courts into deciding a case in his favour.

“Judges and courts are under a moral and ethical obligation to decide based on evidence” the statement concluded.

Meanwhile, PML-N sources have told The Express Tribune that the party, buoyed by Saturday’s tribunal proceedings, has decided to go on the offensive against the PTI chief.

Sources said that party leaders, while making Saturday proceeding’s the bottom line, have devised a strategy to counter PTI and Imran’s claims over electoral rigging.

Earlier on Saturday, Imran had appeared before the election tribunal which is reviewing his request for probing elections in NA-122.

Imran, while urging the tribunal to hold a recount, had said that if the government was convinced about the transparency of the elections, it would not be so hesitant about accountability.

“The evidence is in the ballot bags. Why are they so scared of opening them?”

The PTI chief demanded that the government explain why it was hiding behind the stay orders if it was so sure about the outcome of the elections.

you are well-versed person, how about you write an article to put up ideas for public? what reforms do you suggest in FIA, IB?

How naive of us to think that the people who didnt open 4 constituencies, will ever give way to any reforms whatsoever?

bythway, KP has got an independent NAB, free police, reforms, etc etc

bythway, KP has got an independent NAB, free police, reforms, etc etc

Oh, I thought NS was purposely hindering the 'good work' done by PTI in KPK?!

You see--you guys pick and choose: Wherever PTI wins, all is good: CEc, Higher judiciary, bueracracy..and whenever/wherever PTI loses, it's some grand conspiracy.

IK has/had a golden chance to prove himself in KPK--much like what Modi had in Gujarat for a decade up to 2014. But Modi, despite all the controversies around him, came from a background (a road-side tea-seller's son?) where Modi was REQUIRED to be challenged, tested, stressed. That forces a person to use his brain. And brain can be like muscles--use it or lose it.

Get my drift about Prince Imran Khan?!
