PESHAWAR – The Shuhada Forum, comprising victim families of Army Public School (APS) tragedy on Monday asked Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan to quit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for not helping inquiry of the tragedy despite passage of several weeks.

Talking to a press conference here, the affected mothers said that PTI chief Imran Khan had promised to hold inquiry within 16-days of the carnage but the provincial government has yet to take any decision, they deplored. “Why Imran not holding sit-in for their children,” they questioned and asked the PTI chief to quit the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on failure of his government in the province.

They demanded holding of the judicial inquiry into the incident and called for exposing the perpetrators of the incident. The Shuhada Forum gave 48-hour deadline to the provincial government to order judicial inquiry into the incident otherwise they would hold sit-in, they warned. The affected families demanded award of highest military award to martyred children and privileges to affected families. The Shuhada Forum would hold a rally in Peshawar on Tuesday.

Can clearly understand their emotions but their wish is childish to be honest..
When your kids are burned, killed, butchered, then I hope the world also thinks you crying on the street and asking for justice is childish.

You people were the same who were calling for Nawaz and Shahbaz resignation over model town BEFORE verdict. Was that not childish? Why doesn't the KP gov't resigns while the court figures out if they were at fault for not stopping terrorists?

Asking resignation of Punjab or KP gov't is not a solution to the problem, but to say other's (who lost their family) request is childish is inhumane and you should be ashamed of yourself.

On topic: If God-forbidden my son was among the martyrs, and I really loved him, I would have never ever asked for a compensation on behalf oh his blood. Can some parent sell the blood of his child? At least I cant. May Allah show these parents the right path.

yar the worst is that this APS Shuhda forum is run by ANP/PMLN workers, who have got into contact with 2-3 Parents, and running this campaign. how sad is that they are doing exactly what status quo politicians do > lasho per siyasat.

It is obvious that parents have different political inclinations but what they are doing now is not right. These are grown-up people and I don't think they could simply by made into do things by ANP/PML(N) leadership. It is not that only they have lost their loved ones, over 50,000 dead Pakistanis were also someone's children, spouses, siblings, and parents. If everyones' relatives comes out and ask for blood compensation, how this country will run? These are testing times and all of us have to sacrifice.

These parents have lost every thing .. Why can't KPK govt conduct an enquiry ?

Sad to see this tragic issue also being politicized against PTI, but since its against evil PTI, everyone is fine with it as usual.

What makes you think that KPK government is NOT conducting any inquiry? And what is there to inquire BTW? Has the TTP not already accepted the responsibility and the Army already doing operation?
There is none announced ! and it doesn't matter if any one has claimed responsibility after such gruesome attacks it's a practice to conduct enquiry by respective govts

O' merey bhai, initiating inquiries following every terrorist incident is a fairly standard procedure and has nothing to do with announcement. As soon as an incident like this happens, an FIR is lodged in the local police station and inquiry is started.

I respect them and I know their emotions but their demand doesn't seem reasonable to me because a provincial govt can't fight with terrorists.

The Shuhada Forum. seriously? how many members do they have?
