Should Russia launch air strikes and cruise missile strikes against Ukrainian positions and units?

I think so because Ukaine is in Russia's backyard and if Ukraine wants to join NATO or develop nukes then that is red line for Russia.

How long can Putin stay in office? How long can Obama stay in office? As soon as one of these two is gone from office, boom, Ukraine will be a war zone Europe has never seen before :laugh:

Even Mironov wants to invade Ukraine.

This is not entirely true. After the Little Russian Cossacks won the war against Poland in 1648-1654, they swore allegiance to the Russian Tsar. As part of the Russian Kingdom the Little Russian land received the widest autonomy. And then began the war of all against all. And this war of all against all lasted till the end of the 17th century. Population decreased tenfold. Agricultural lands turned into the wild lands. There were more damage than during the Mongol invasion of the 13th century.
And only when the area is managed from Moscow, here came the order.

Yes... If Saudis can do it in Yemen with America publicly endorsing this aggression why can't Russia do it in their backyard.
Though I think the rebels can take care of the Ukrainian forces themselves with Russian military aid..

Putin is senile. Good thing he'll be gone from office soon. The next Russian president will surely invade Ukraine. :nana:

I beg to differ. Saudis sponsored FSA cannot beat Syria. In Libya, Gaddafi was toppled largely by NATO air strikes and cruise missile strikes. If Poroshenko is to be toppled, Russia will have to conduct air strikes and cruise missile strikes in support of NAF.

But why get ur hands dirty if others can do the job for you... The rebels aren't jihadist that the world would be alarmed by them acquiring advanced weapons like anti aircraft missiles..
Russia should just provide weapons and maybe some black ops units and finish the job..

The world? Who's the world? Russia is 1 of the 3 super powers. Russia can bomb whoever it likes, wherever it likes, whenever it likes. Putin has disgraced Russia enough and embarassed Russia in front of the world enough. Time for someone like Mironov or Zhirinovsky to take charge of the Kremlin. :enjoy:

Zzz I am not an expert on geopolitics or wateva but I don't think this is not how the game works.. One can't just bomb
any country at will.. Smart diplomacy and proxies too play a part...
You seem to more interested on the warfare part but everybody got their own opinion so no harm..
Just curious - - Do u play Battlefield?

Drones are difficult to shoot down. They are not hot so can't use MANPAD on them. They are small targets AA guns are not effective. You need phased array radar + radar guided AA guns like Pantsir to shoot down drones.

Ukraine has done defence deals with UAE.

Tawazun Dynamics produces a laser guided missile called the TALON – together with Raytheon. Is Ukrainian military going to get it ?
