I am extremely glad that Modi government is wasting 1000s of Cr Rs on construing new gov buildings instead of hospitals, universities or giving equipment to process crops stubble, etc. It may be against public interests that instead of providing them job (govt ones) which are vacant but due to corruption/budget deficit are not filled and thus creating unemployment (in govt sector). Though this will provide for some labourers and construction workers, which can be provided by buildings home/hospitals/etc for poor instead.

However, as our forefathers sat together in the same parliament buildings, should we request Dehli not to demolish that?

Why request !!! just make sure when it gets completed it is demolished.

That is when construction contractors are compromised. That would be a facepalm to Modi.
My query is, not to destroy the building built in 1920s as ML leaders and Congress leader sat together in the same building. So it is somewhat a collective heritage.
for details:

Indian have 500+ billion dollars reserves. All tech companies have offices there. They can afford it.

What do Pakistan have? Parliament to be used for university promise?

Be logical please.
title revised.

Nah. We don't need to

In fact we should ask them that current proposed design isn't good enough and they need to spend more money to further improve it

There is soem opposition to it in India. If we protest, at least then they looked good saying that these protests are backed by Pak, for once.

We could ask them to send pieces of it to us if we really want. Same with the Taj Mahal.

I hope there will be a record as there is a reserve seat for opposition leader. So Quaid must have sat there. That would be important than the rubble.
Best is to ask for the seat when Quaid first talked about Pakistan or when raised voice for Bhagat singh in parliament. As opposition leader seat may not be a good choice.

The best possible approach is Pakistan and India joining China as two provinces. Imagine the economic growth it's gonna have.

No we cannot since after the partition joint heritage is not has been considered by both side. India can also raise similar demands if we do it.
