Could our country’s security apparatus do with a force of professionals well versed in state-of-the-art IT knowledge?

Cyberspace is an exceptional, human-made domain that was created for the facilitation of communication and can be characterised as a worldwide inter-connected infrastructure. It has made the free interchange of data via a networked system for more than half of the world’s population possible. Emerging threats in cyberspace pose new hazards and challenges to present societies around the world that has the potential to undermine the safety of their citizens and bring important disruption to political, social, and economic life.

To intellectualise cyberspace security, it is needed to make a difference between two risk magnitudes: risk to cyberspace and risk through cyberspace. The risk of cyberspace can be considered as a threat to the physical infrastructure of communication technologies. The threat through cyberspace, on the other hand, is a danger posed by cyberspace itself and is enabled by the usage of its technologies.

This shouldn't even be a question. If you're asking this, you've already practically lost.
You are correct, however this article was published in Tribune.com.pk and as an patriot I wanted to bring to attention to alll those Patriots who are unaware of this topic severity at large.

I'm glad you posted it man, here's some good news in relation to this though: (not all is lost)

(Last two are slightly less relevant, but I think still good progress in the same general direction)

They are all relevant, everything in A.I. & Cyber warfare is inter-connected. I will add these links in the YT video description box.

The 3rd article has real great definitions of A.I.

Israelis pick kids from school level and teach them under guidance of professionals and then induct them into unit 8200. Why can't we ?

And those children can later on bring money in as well after retirement.

Researched on this last year for a project and was made part of a proposal..
they use this unit as tech incubator that benefits the national security in present time as well as secures their future

Exactly that's what I heard, the Isrealis recruit young students at very early stage therefore these students as they practice NLP & A.I. become professional very quickly.

Rhetorical question. As long as decisions are centralized within the Army and ISI - Pakistan will never build a world class cyber capability. Cyber is joint ops and will require Pakistan to develop a completely new Cyber Command structure pulling in the best resources from all civil and military sources. It can perhaps run under the office of the Joints Chiefs or under DG ISI (but not under DG Tech - DG Tech can be a customer of Cyber Command but should not run it), but anything less than that and it wont amount to much. BTW making the distinction between electronic warfare which is very different from Cyber Command/Warfare.

We should send groups to get trained in China, find young bright minds eager to learn, and finance their training in China.
In all the important fields.

I don't know if China would agree, but worth a shot for sure.

It is already happening…. Employees from different departments go for training
