While IK is a political leader, came with a slight majority after decades of hard work. Pakistan is a democratic country with many voices. Things in democratic countries go very slow. Only dictators can give orders and change any law at will.

Now thats a whole new discussion and something debatable. Naturally the opinion of a learned old person cannot be equal to the opinion of an uneducated, poor and young kid in a remote area. Authoritarian governments like china are not easy to be established in poor countries either. The Communist party in china is a well established and highly independent institution. In poor countries parties tend to become family limited ones and such system give rise to dictators. Dictator can do wonders for a country IF and a big if he is a capable, strong and caring leader. This means its a chance. Such dictators are mostly corrupt and incompetent and ends up enslaving their countries.

So some ppl are of view that if u give democracy a chance and let it flurish and educate the people, after some time ppl become aware and move to right direction, as opposed to dictatorships.

oh really? huh...didn't know he was on it. but still, the way he removed all the russian jewish oligarchs & the russian mafia that controlled everything from the courts to the police to even the taxation system is very impressive. We are talking about a Russia were cia & u.s. state department officials walking casually up & down the kremlin streets telling the government what they can and cannot do. Wrestling Russia out of such clutches and making it what it is today is just astounding...sure, there is still a russian mafia...it is his mafia. Imran Khan should NOT create his own mafia but he could AT LEAST do the same thing that putin did to pull Russia out of its ruts, right? Russian economy is in decline continuously and their public is becoming more poor everyday.I think putin has not performed good in strengthening russian economy

a lot of that decline is due to american sanctions since the crimea take over. but they have black gold that keeps 'em alive albeit it could be FAR better had their NOT been sanctions. hence why they are so keen on getting access to CPEC; that way the can directly compete with the gcc countries and supply oil directly to the huge market that is africa.

fanboy or not...IK is the ONLY option Pakistan's democracy has left...otherwise its the martial law danda that no politician will survive; not this time around. Don't forget...the current rank & file of generals have moved up from the battlefields after seeing real life combat day in and day out...they are NOT in the mood giving any of these politicians any chances anymore even if they brown nose their boots until their democratic noses bleed.

Putin is not a great example for Pakistan.. He has many successes, but he is tainted by the corrupt elites he relies to maintain power.
