Shiv Sena forces KFC, meat shops to shut in Gurugram

meat shops, including a KFC outlet, in old Gurugram were allegedly shut down by over 200 Shiv Sainiks for nine days on account of Navratri.

They also threatened the shop owners on Tuesday to shut their establishments on every Tuesday.

"We have served notices to meat shop owners, including KFC, and other fast food outlets to shut their shops till Navratri ends and on every Tuesday," Gautam Saini, the president of Shiv Sena, Gurgaon, told PTI.

That's why even BJP doesn't respect Shiv Sena.

I personally find them nothing less than regular political hooligans, getting their whim done.

BTW I remember when visiting Oman; shops shut down every afternoon for prayers. Apparently it is mandated by the government.

What is Shiv Sena doing in the North India? They are the one who
1. beat hindi speaking people in maharashtra. Why and what are they doing in hindi speaking lands?
2. distributed meat free to all when Jain's highest spirutal leader requested their government in maharashtra to stop meat for a day i.e. one specific day during their annual one day religious puja.
What a crap of party it is. Government should take the strongest action against them.
Trying to get cheap publicity.

When 7+ diverse Indian and non-Indian communities of different faiths live harmoniously in India adjusting with each other happily, I don't really see why one community always has to whine about privileges and what not.

Those who are proud to share the space and adjust with all of us are most welcome and will be loved. Those who don't want to, are always free to leave for the country created for sub-continent's muslims in 1947; Pakistan.

No. And they will be arrested for that by the police. This isn't the first time they have been beaten up by the police black and blue. So we have it covered.

They don't have any vote base in northern India and are only seen as a fringe element here.

So Muslims need to practise what they preach to others.

Is oman a secular republic with 200 million hindus living there?
