There goes the whole Indian theory of UAE being there enemy of CPEC and Gwadar out the window.

I think all nations realize the importance of CPEC and will come knocking at pakistan's door because they want the piece of the action and wouldn't want to be left behind. They might have opposed it, but Pakistani willingness to beat all odds has changed that.

I predict even the terrorist supporting neighbours to our south to come knocking once their pakistan - phobic government looses power.

Alhamdulillah. Pakistan is reaching new milestones each day under the current democratic administration.

You are right. In the recent human history, this is "the largest" multi-national project the world has seen. It connects estimated 2+ billion people of the world (25% of the population through road, rail and ships at short distances). If India also joins in, close to half the world benefits from it through a highway and rail links. I don't think there is another project similar to this in terms of economic and geo-political impact at this time in human history. So everyone will join in. I watch economy related news, Germany, Netherlands, France, Italy and the UK want to join in for sure.

Indeed, I was actually quite surprised China want to invest 46 billion dollar on CPEC. I know China is serious about this project, but 46 billion for single project? simply mind blowing. No wonder the rest of the world pay attention to this project. It is a shame that India can't actually see an opportunity here. There is a win win situation for every one here, the cake is just simply too big for any nation to eat it by itself. Moreover, the cake is getting bigger day by day.
