Pakistani students made Solar 1 (Shamsi one) Pakistan’s first Solar powered plane. As Pakistani students and engineers are making progress day and night now another step of Pakistani students. Two students of University of Technology and Management named Syed Muhammad Junaid and Abdul Mateen worked hard on solar powered plane and now they have successfully tested its first flight. They have told media their solar powered plane can fly day and night with the help of solar panels and installed batteries. First step to solar powered plane is successful and now the technology revolution in Pakistan will help to fly in the space in future.

. .
Put money in this project, further cultivate this idea and you can have your first home grown solar powered UAV.............
imagine we have solar drone faying all day on TTP search and use batteries at night a 24/7 terror on snakes.

It would be better any Pak UAV manufacturer should buy the rights and give employment to these two student. Don't let it die in cold storage. This is remarkable achievement of these students.

imagine we have solar drones flying all day on borders search and use batteries on night, 24/7 and shot some missiles on snakes running the TTP

Many such products were killed due to lack of focus or money or sources.
If you see the projects of students of Mechanics and Meca tronics in GIKI, NUST, PIAS, UET etc................ you will be shocked to see how much diverse ideas and products we have at such level

Impressive
Pakistan needs to invest a lot more in their young and brilliant Engineers/Scientists.

And may be help make things like this

Not enough space in this design to house battery packs for longer endurance.

Brilliant piece of engineering in limited resources nevertheless.

.
IDS(Integrated Defence) or PAWC should consider buying the rights to this :)
