I don't understand how can you take action against those bribing but not against who is taking bribe ...we need to ask whether ECp following legal process or not...

When Supreme Court had already decided and declared that Secrecy of Ballot is not Absolute and could not remain Secret Forever ... then

Why ECP chose NOT TO IMPLEMENT Identifiable ballot in this election but in the next senate election .... ???

While the identity of the those sold out votes are SECRET then How and Why ECP is asking the name of those members from government who voted to opposition candidate .... ???

Why ECP is shifting its Prime Responsibility to Government .... ??? By Constitution of Pakistan it is ECP who is responsible to conduct fair and Free election not GOP, therefore its the responsibility of ECP not the Government to identify those corrupt member who sold their vote .....

Why ECP is threatening to take action the 2 PTI members who conducted the sting operation ..... ???

Why ECP is insisting to include them as accused .... ??? while the fact of the matter is THEY ARE WITNESS NOT ACCUSED ....

Why ECP has changed and insisting to implement the changed definition of accused and witness in this case ... ???

Why ECP is involving itself in threatening the Witnesses .... ???

Why ECP is not informing about the measures it undertook to stop corrupt practices related to this election .... ???

Why ECP in this case openly disassociated itself from the OFFICIAL Press release issued after the release of Video of Gilani son ..... ???

And IF even after release of Haider Gilani video ECP has not taken any measures to investigate the issue .... then the issue is Why ECP is NOT Serious to investigate this issue .... ???

Why bench of ECP who was hearing this case is saying only Haider Gilani would face negative consequences If prove guilty .... ???

Why not Gilani himself .... ??? any legal or constitutional explanation .... ???

What about the election related to Gilani seat for which Corrupt practices were adopted and IF proven in the court of law .... ???

Why bench of ECP is defending and giving explanations of confessional statements of Marriyum Safdar, Javaid Latif and Asif Ali Zardari ... ???

Why ECP 3 times in today's hearing refused to watch the video of Haider Gilani .... ???

And even after watching the video gave explanation in the favour of Haider Gilani .... ???

Without denying the fact that it's ECP responsibility to conduct free and fair election ....
If and only if PTI plea that it was sting operation the video become inadmissible in court of law...there is clear judgment of SC regarding the admisible of video as an evidence ...
Statements whether refer to confession or not again it will be decided by competent authority ...
Issue is structural ...what if sanjrani win with number difference then opposition will blame there is some issue in election ...both parties need to sit and decide about future elections

This case will not be decided in ECP but in SC and PTI pleading its case in ECP just to fulfil the need of using all the relevant legal channels before to appear in SC.

ECP is not an investigative authority.

Local police station should register the case as they are empowered by the constitution to go even on hunch.

Guidance is not binding ...I may be wrong but had SC clearly instructed EC instead of advising there would be scenario ...when thing are left to interpretation it is always subjective...
ECP is not party here...yes government may try to establish it but ECP can't conduct anything beyond what is written in constitution....why SC did not clearly written it that abrogate secret vote?
Personally It make sense voting should be open...but as I said parties need to change it

Guidance is not binding ...

President submitted reference seeking advice from SC therefore SC interpreted the constitutional clause of secrecy .... if its not binding then ECP could simply say it will never implement identifiable voting system in Senate as it is against the constitution ..... ECP is not saying this but chose not to act as per SC advice ONLY in this election, future Senate elections will be held as per SC advice.

When it comes to PMLN and PPP crimes, most institutions, if not all, close their eyes and ears.
Pakistan has not reached at current ridiculous, unacceptable and unmaintainable stage without these institutions and individuals acting beyond their duties and acceptable norms.

I always mention the example of Shahbaz Calling Justice Qayyum on Nawaz behalf, then PM of Pakistan.
They were not punished, despite clear cut evidence. Two judges were punished on the same evidence. So why that evidence was not enough to disqualify these two thugs for life!!

I already commented days before the hearing that ECP would adopt the same line. There is noway these criminals would convict the criminals who provides them lucrative posts with huge perks.
