As Trump prepares to visit, a wall rises in India, Should Trump talk about protest in India after approval of controversial citizenship act. How will Modi defend Shaheen Bagh fiasco? Where a child lost his life protesting during chilly nights against CAA and NRC.

British newspaper The Independent quoted a senior administration official that CAA & Protest will on the table for discussion.

Citizenship law changes in India that block Muslim migrants from obtaining citizenship and a stalled trade pact will highlight Donald Trump's agenda when he makes his first diplomat trip to the country next week.

.........But among the top agenda items will be the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), passed by Modi's administration late last year, which gives a route to citizenship to migrants of all major religious groups except one: Muslims.

"I expect it will come up" when Mr Trump and Mr Modi speak on Tuesday, the senior administration official said on a Friday afternoon conference call with reporters

.

The same senior official said the US president and others in the administration have "concerns" about the law, noting religious freedom is "important" to the White House.

@Politico Is this the India that you pride yourself on? Always badmouthing Pakistan, but nowhere to be found at such critical moments.

Where do I "badmouth Pakistan"? If your closet mind is unable to accept constructive criticism of Pakistan then you are no better than those Indian Sanghis who rush to India's defense blindly without seeing the ground reality of the situation. On topic: I personally don't believe that the CAA is discriminatory and unconstitutional. If a Hindu majority nation believes that there are two large nations in South Asia which comes to the aid of any persecution of Muslims whilst no other nation are in place for other religions, and if that Hindu nation offers preferential refuge to those persecuted non-Muslim persons in South Asia, whilst not closing the door to Muslim refugees, how can that be described as discriminatory or inhumane?

Trump and the US administration ought to be the last people on earth to lecture anybody about non-religious or non-racial discrimination considering their track record.

Stupid bitch. No matter how you sugarcoat, CAA is blatantly discriminatory. There are no two ways about it. The main aim is to discriminate against Muslim population and create one Hindu state for only Hindu majority.

That is all fine by me, but don't go around claiming how India is the biggest democracy on the planet with a plural society LOL

LOL it feels good to be on the other side o the fence. We made our choice, but you are helpless. Begging for mercy on both sides to be accepted LOL

Trump only can say about CAA to Modi when he is in India because we dont believe in showing red face to our guests .
But if that in another third country ,he will hear ,Trump is the one that fenced Mexican border and banned Muslims from six nations .
That racist should be the last one to ask us .

India is a world largest democracy .
So far it was a third world democracy but since after huge development we felt the need to upgrade it in to first world advanced one.
First frame work was channelising everything and creates the Adhaar,CMS etc.
Once it done we changed the gear and shift to more vibrant methods .
Article 370 repealing and finishing rest of the little issues ,we moved to CAA.
Further changes are in pipeline where strict punishment for crimess,UCC and then NPR .
We will give a citizenship card to our citizens .

Within few years ours will be world largest advanced democracy
