Shahbaz following Turkish role model for developmental policies

LAHORE: The Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has been known to have selected the Turkish role model for accomplishing his developmental policies, which also include his landmark metro-bus services.

Reliable sources said that the Punjab CM has been known to have hired the services of 11Turkish intelligence servicemen to train a batch of elite forces for special protection of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and few top-ranking of the ruling elite.

Sources claim that Nawaz Sharif has already experienced the past rebellion against government, and in order to ward of this bitter experience is deploying Special Forces to protect himself from any such recurring possibility.

It has been said that these experts were also imparting intelligence training to elite forces, so that this batch of elite forces could be used for any purpose, including tailing and keeping eye on intelligence matters.

Turkish rulers like Abdullah Gul and Tayyab Ordagan have also taken such steps against their perceived unruly Army generals by employing similar methods; hence observers are giving specials considerations to such moves by PML-N government.
