Do you know about exact amount which was looted by Nawaz that you want to take all of it back and let him go. Plea bargaining contributes towards more corruption in the country as the crooks know they can get a clean chit from the courts concerned even after they rob the country and its people. Their only requirement is the power of bargaining and contacts with the right persons so as to pay the least costs for their crimes and get away with as much loot as they can after paying back part of the loot to the exchequer and to the officials involved on behalf of the NAB.

You are mixing the things. I just responded to your query of "what law of land". This is an altogether different discussion, whether provision of plea bargain, in financial crimes, is good or bad. As for your argument of using the contacts and bribe, to the concerned public officials, that holds true in either case, whether the provision of plea bargain is there or not.

And yet the honest, competent, truthful govt of IK has failed to show even one bank account with 1 dollar/pound/rupee/euro/dinar/lira that MNS has overseas which the state thinks is fair game for seizure. When will Zulfis dad be held accountable for the death of those pathan slaves he sent to Libya or the money he laundered thru his son in the UK.

Either you are clueless on money laundering and layering or acting stupid. Gov has sufficient evidence including bank accounts, transactions and balances of the accounts of COMPANIES these people control. They never laundered money through their very own personal bank accounts - duh!

FIA investigated Fake Accounts case and that is an open and shut case.

Pakistan has deep rooted corruption at all levels of society, right from the top to bottom and its down to serving governments to deal with this. The government is setting the right example with NS by navigating through the first small stepping stones in dealing with corruption and those who slip through the net as with the examples you've given will eventually face accountability by another administration if the current one has looked the other way. Sadly thats the nature of politics, no government is clean and there will always be scores to settle, but the message is clear, a chor will eventually be caught.

BTW, I don't think anyone is advocating torture by definition, but simply by heresay. If AC is not available to other prisoners, then NS shouldn't be given favouritism for simply being rich. And if he or anyone else doesn't like prison conditions, then don't do the crime. People have offshore accounts for myriad reasons. Is it a good thing? No. But it doesn't by defintion mean one is a thief. Furthermore, if it does then again I ask why is it that JKT is OK and MNS isn't? Why has no one asked about Kayani's accounts in UAE or Aleema Khan's accounts all over the world? I again remind you I have not criticized the decision to put MNS in jail. I am saying when will others who are thieves going to be punished? When will 2/3 of this govts cabinet be put in jail for the exact same thing.

Yeah they have all this information and yet they haven't gone to interpol or FATF or even the governments of the nations wherein these accounts lie to ask for them to be frozen pending investigation. Funny how they can't do anything outside of Pakistan. Interesting how all their evidence and proof is useless outside of Pakistan.

This is the same govt that claimed 100 billion dollars would be returned to Pakistan upon IK's oath ceremony.
