Beijing's new airport topped a list of the seven wonders of themodern world near completion

No.1 Beijing Daxing Airport, China

Beijing Daxing Airport, which is set to be the biggest airport in the world, is designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid. The new Terminal One will have a radial-like plan, designed to reduce passenger travel distances. The construction of the new airport started in 2015 and it is planned to be put into use in 2019.

That thing is astounding, I want China to create more extremely cool and futuristic opulent structures.

This reminds me of a floating underwater city proposal I saw for China a while ago by China Communications Construction Company, I'm not sure if the plan was pursued but I haven't heard any updates about it.
