Tank biathlon - a new trend in the training of armored units. According to Chief of Combat Training Forces Lt. Gen. Ivan Buvaltseva, from next year the competition will be like one of the main elements of combat training examination of various species and genera of the Russian army.

Starting next year, the practice of holding the all-army competitions among the various units of species and genera of the Armed Forces will be constant. The Defense Ministry said that this factor will certainly encourage soldiers to improve military training, the better the development of military specialties and a better understanding of capabilities of military equipment.
