US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations chairman Senator John Kerry would be arriving in Pakistan today. According to American media reports, Senator John Kerry would meet with Pakistani officials and urge them to take bold steps against Al-Qaeda or else the United States Congress would stop the aid to Pakistan.

Senator Kerry would assure the Pakistani officials that if the required steps are taken, Pakistan would play a main role in talks with the Taliban in an attempt to find a political solution in Afghanistan.

According to media reports, Senator Kerry before leaving for Pakistan said that relation between the United States and Pakistan are entering a crucial stage. He added that if Pakistan does not take the steps against Al-Qaeda, relation with the US would be adversely affected.

According to media reports, Senator Kerry would also urge the Pakistani officials to reduce the number of nuclear assets because the US congress members have told the Obama administration that if aid has to be given to Pakistan, there needs to be a reduction in Pakistan’s nuclear assets

what people think is pakistan keeps all weapons at one place if blackhawk bombs kahota he will find no base to land in asia or middle east cz pakistan will wipe all thier bases in middle east and asia and the blackhawk will crash somewhere in afghanistan or shot down by iran or china or pakistan.

we dont have any intention of joining such acts....our PM clarified it last week in afghanistan, saying we dont prefer such strikes...

however, you also should see that we dont need to do so, since US of A is doing so........we will just stand outside the ring and see the fun.

This is exactly what India could ever wish for. Surely, music to the ears in New Delhi.

Americans are doing a fine job.

He said there was some evidence Pakistan knew about Taliban hideouts in Pakistan, a finding that he called disturbing. US Senator John Kerry says the US relationship with Pakistan is at a “critical moment” because of the killing of Osama bin Laden.

Kerry, chairman of the powerful Senate Foreign Relations Committee, was speaking Sunday in the Kabul. He is visiting both Afghanistan and Pakistan to mend relations following the unilateral US strike against bin Laden. But he also said that bin Laden’s death may present a new opportunity for reconciliation with the Taliban in Afghanistan.
