Sedition case against Indian actress for praising Pakistan

She should visit PDF to see what are real feelings of Pakistanis towards Indians especially South Indians.:)

I think all Pakistanis, even those on PDF, would be extremely hospitable to her or any other Indian as valued guests; unless they do not "pull off a Rajnath Singh" in our country. In that case, every Pakistani will become a Chaudhry Nisar haha.

. .
One individual filing a crappy case doesn't mean anything. It's a country of 1.2 billion. There are crazies. The lawyer most probably did it deliberately to gain some media attention anyway as he may think that it may help his practice.

What is a true test of democracy is that such frivolous cases must not stand the test in courts which it will not.

Who cares about test of courts and difficult provisions and definitions of law................. Simple experience shared by a lady tested the extremist insecure side of Indian society and it proved that society is full of intolerance, extremism and fanaticism. Though sane Indians can type millions of comments in a try to reflect openness of their society and civilized manners but that should not hide the fact that their society is full of millions of extremists who given a chance can wreak havoc.

It's my birthday, so I expect magnanimity at least in this respect.

Happy birthday Joe Sb. May you enjoy whatever remaining years lay ahead for you. All the best…..

. .
The definition offered by JoeS says that she'll be found innocent.
Explanations 2 & 3 are very clear on that since without them that
law would restrain political comments by any Indian on anything
done or said by GoI which would be pure & unabated dictatorship.

One can still note that this mess began with another instance of
"talkito" MP. When the flow of words out of someone is constant,
lost in translation episodes are bound to happen.

Good day all, Tay.

Being anti-Pakistani does not make you an extremist. Having said that individuals do not decide charges of sedition. The appropriate authorities in government do. In this case some dim wit individual decided to file the sedition charge. It reflects the screwed up legal system in India.

Pakistan's government record speaks for itself

The point being made repeatedly by Indian members is that it is not "Indian society" as a whole that filed this case. It was one lawyer looking for some media attention. (Which he got.) You really think that this proves "that [Indian] society is full of intolerance, extremism and fanaticism"? Don't you think you are being a bit too eager to draw the conclusion you want to, instead of being objective? If a Pakistani lawyer filed a similar case, would you draw the same conclusion about Pakistan?

That said, it is a ridiculous stunt, and the court ought to penalize him for frivolous litigation.

When you say who cares about Tests of courts and difficult provisions and definitions of law... I can tell you have no idea about democracy. So let's leave it at that.

Indians love frivolous litigation. No big deal. The actress is actually a politician.

.
I as an Indian condemn your post on us not condeming the condeming done by a lawyer by filing a case on failed egoistic actress/politico Ramya's condemeable comments which received lot of condeming in her home state of karnataka which will examine her condemeable comments .
There I have condemed enough for all Indian posters in this forum.

On topic:

She will walk scot free, but her political career is presumably hit rock bottom after this fiasco.
She lost her last election spectacularly and went to UK for 10 months without informing her political party, her ego is sky high.
One time back in 2009, as an actress she got into lot of trouble for treating her co-dancers or movie stars as subhumans for like example just stroking her or dancing too close to her in a dance .
Her behavior in 2011 cost her a 1 year ban and almost a virtual ban in Karnataka film industry and recently she shot a movie and quit half way costing the producer lot of loss due to her ego running high again, but the movie went to a reshoot with another actress which has a scene dedicated to mock ramya .
.She is basically controversies favorite child hated by the entire movie industry here.
She sucks even more in politics, the place she won last time was in a district of Karnataka in mandya in 2013.After winning she never visited there until next election, which she lost spectacularly. :D
She is the worst kind of mascot pakistan can get for spreading Pakistani message of peace, lol.:lol::lol:
Infact, I am having a field day reading all your comments. Guys, truth be told.. She is in Indian Congress party which made this dumb women a actress /politician due to a old political fox's link i.e Mr. S. M.Krishna, so called her mother's friend.
she is an apple filled with worms, looks good on the outside, but rotten to the core.
Getting certificate from her is like taliban praising ISIS :hang3:.. Calm Down folks, for your own sake. :coffee::coffee:
you did quiet reasearch on her LOL... she is cute though :p::p::P

Lady an internet Hindu went on to declare her a bastard child of someone, right here on this forum and you are trying to tell me I am not being objective. It is really sad to see educated Indians trying to defend evils of their society though I should be happy about it but don't know why I feel differently today.

Someone sharing her personal experience and getting this treatment is pretty evident of mental state of Indian society.

When you say who cares about Tests of courts and difficult provisions and definitions of law... I can tell you have no idea about democracy. So let's leave it at that.

And when you fail to understand why a democracy needs to have difficult provisions and difficult definitions of law, when those laws are supposed to be for people of that democracy ................ I can tell you have no idea about democracy even if you keep uttering I live in biggest democracy in the world. So yes let's leave it at that.

It is a sad state of affairs that even though Indian members are repeatedly saying this does not reflect Indian society but past actions of Indian society has made it clear what their intentions are, when your Bollywood stars started speaking against your intolerance and extremism your Indian society pounced on them and even told them to move to Pakistan!! Don't tell me that was also an individual act. This lady ( I don't know who she is and what she wants) has not made any remarks to say she is a traitor.Im not blaming Indian society at all but your past actions have a different story to tell.
