ISLAMABAD, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- The Pakistani security forces seized a huge cache of weapons and explosives in northwest tribal region of Orakzai Agency on Friday, local media reported.

According to the reports, the security forces conducted an operation on a secret information and raided a house in the lower part of Orakzai Agency, one of Pakistan's seven mountainous tribal regions located near the Pakistani-Afghan border.

During the search of the house, the security forces found the weapons and explosives buried underground.

Militants reportedly hid the weapons before they fled from the area after the security forces launched an operation in the region.

According to details, 48 rockets, 50 missiles, rocket launchers, anti-tank mines, 12 rocket-propelled grenades (RPG-7), ready-to-use bombs, hundreds of live bullets and two wireless sets were confiscated from the site.

However, no detention has been made because nobody was living in the house.

Meanwhile, the security personnel launched a search operation in the adjoining areas for further evidence.

Earlier on Thursday, security forces arrested 20 militants during multiple operations conducted in southwestern Balochistan province and also recovered arms and ammunition from the possession of the arrested persons, including hand grenades, improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and communication equipment.

A border between "brotherly countries", don't you know?

A. Fencing is not complete.
B. Our gate keepers may also have let stuff through for some bakhshish. It is not without reason that the Pak-Iran border smells of spices and the incharge officer can afford to buy their son a Ferrari.
However there is a dire need to fsnce the border all the way from afghanistan to Iran with checkpoints. It may not stop smuggling but reduce it And I would rather they let spicez through any day than guns.
