WAZIRISTAN/SWAT: Security forces have advanced in Kot Ladha and Kotkyi areas of Waziristan. The forces have also gained control of a key road tunnel in Dara Adam Khel after fierce fighting that killed 24 militants Sunday.
Security forces during a search operation captured large quantity of arms and ammunition, a spokesman of ISPR said in a statement.

Forty of the arrested were later released on bail, while the forces taken 40 militants in custody and transferred them to an unspecified place, Matta police said. Key militant commanders said to be among the arrested men.
In another incident unknown miscreants shot dead a man and set his car on fire.
